The location is superb in Chiado close to every major attraction. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a kids' center and it was perfect as we left our two boys (7 and 3 years old) for a morning. The staff there is caring and kind. This is is a must hotel for any family with little ones. Breakfast is good with a nice selection. Make sure to go next door to "Landeau" and get the most amazing chocolate cake (You're welcome) :)

There was a smell of insecticide by our door on the outside. They must have sprayed right before we checked in.

Great location and beautiful old house, warm and welcoming staff with comfortable amenities. Although we didn’t get to try it out, the reading area in the main house looks comfortable too

Try not to get a room in the bottom (basement) floor; since the floors are wooden you will hear a lot of stomping around at night, children running around, etc

The spaciousness of the apartment and the large balcony. It was a real bonus having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped.

We found the sofas a little low in the apartment. Having to collect the keys from an office in Lagos was a little inconvenient and would have been more difficult if we had not hired a car.

Location is great. Close to shops and not far from the city centre.

The sewage smell on the night of arrival was horrible. It got better the next day but the first night was bad. Also, the mould in the flat is everywhere- I mean you can tell it is very clean but you can't' do much with this re-occurring mould due to the age of the building I believe. If you have asthma or other breathing difficulties I wouldn't recommend staying in here.
