It is an excellent hotel from location, to comfort, to staff to cleanliness. They had renovated it since I last stayed here and it is very 21st century inside while still maintaining the old facade on the outside. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities a traveller could want, of course these days extras are not available anywhere so no toothbrush/ paste or shaving kit. The beds were very comfortable. The location is just across from the Central station, tram and metro. Also just a few mins walk from Dam square so lots to do and places to eat. The staff were extremely helpful with guiding us on what transportation to use, what to do, getting tickets, etc. all in all a great experience and would love to stay again

A great expensive property. Not sure about the value for money. Only provided drinking water on arrival - at the rates charged they could at least provide water daily! Basic amenities like soap and shampoo were provided but no toothbrush kit or shaving kit or sewing kit, etc.

However, the option of a sleeper couch in the living area offers an alternative. Overall, a cosy and well-equipped lodge for a relaxing getaway.

Fantastic location, right at the beachfront. You're not going to get this price anywhere else. Town centre is just a short 10 minute walk away, with everything you need. Rooms are clean and the beds sleep well. Peaceful and quiet at night. The owners are a lovely couple.

Breakfast was terror. Very unfriendly staff with a beautiful moustache. He almost became angry when I asked for a second cup of coffee. The hotel was okay but the breakfast was lousy. Never again.

The staircase is almost impossible to navigate safely (narrow, steep, and the tiniest of steps). We had suitcases with us which became an engineering exercise of note to get up and down again safely.

Close to the station although a bit hard to find at first.

Can’t switch off the fan in the bathroom so it runs loudly all night. The air conditioner kept saying unoccupied even when the room key was in and it took maintenance a long time to respond. Pillows were uncomfortable.

The steep winding stairs was hard to move luggage up and down. Lucky there was 4 of us to form a chain. Email instructions were long and complicated. We couldn’t find the PIN and key instructions because there were attached to the end of several attachments. (Which made us all frustrated. There were noisy young people yelling in the street between 1 and 3am.
