The stairs are really steep and not ideal if you have any ability issues/injuries. Also quite dangerous to carry luggage up and down. Also the towels are very small

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great location but you will not want to have the windows open, as a noisy street.

The staircase is almost impossible to navigate safely (narrow, steep, and the tiniest of steps). We had suitcases with us which became an engineering exercise of note to get up and down again safely.

As others have said, stairs are pretty steep and narrow, so not recommended for those with mobility issues. As local area is filled with bars and restaurants, can be quite lively until the early hours of the morning - this didn't bother me at all, but worth being aware of.

Good sized rooms, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good shower. Air conditioning good, as easy to cool or heat the room. Location is great and very central, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

The steep shallow stairs were not easy for a toddler and pregnant woman to scale. The location of the apartment would be great for someone enjoying the nightlife of Rotterdam but was difficult for a young child - the noise from the street (all night, every night) was much louder than we were expecting.

Good apartment for a weekender - plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

The apartment building has no elevator. The climb is made on narrow steps and at a very steep angle.

The apartment is located in the city center. Restaurants and bars can be found nearby. Important sights are within easy reach of the apartment.

The stairs were terrifying! Apparently these very narrow steep staircases are traditional in old Dutch houses, so be aware that it will be a challenge to bring up big cases without help.

This place was amazing - we had everything we needed to cook simple meals, the beds were super comfortable, and the communication with the remote reception was great. The window key didn't work, but someone delivered another key soon after we asked ( it was hot in Rotterdam!).

To be honest, it is good in location with fabulous window view (I lived in the flat which was faced west) and it locates near metro and tram stations. You would have an approximate 15mins walk to the busy shopping area E.g. the local traditional shopping company.

Getting up the stairs with my elderly mom was problematic as well as the noise from the bars below however the host did point this out when we booked so this wasn't their fault but rather mine for still proceeding with the booking.

Good location - many eateries in the street below. Easy to get around from the apartment. Hosts provided basics such as coffee pods , spices, oil etc which I thought was very thoughtful. We had to pay a deposit and this was refunded quickly so no issues there.

There was not enough toilet paper and only one trash bag. Some of the towels had holes but still a clean room.
