Mariella is very warm n hospitable that made us felt very welcomed. She prepared many variety of fresh homemade Sicilian breakfast spreads that were both traditional and delicious, we enjoyed very much. Highly recommend this place

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Il Gelso Vacanze. Our room was clean and roomy, we loved the huge terrace off our room. Breakfast could not be faulted, thankyou Paolo for all your help. We highly recommend il Gelso.

The apartment is far from the center and the main station, but there are several bus stops nearby. The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator

No bathroom downstairs where people are sleeping in the lounge on the sofa bed, and no privacy there. Very steep staircase inside the apartment, not suitable for older people or small children.
