How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment is far from the center and the main station, but there are several bus stops nearby. The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator
The apartment is excellent. It has everything you need. Communication with the host is excellent and he is available and helps with everything you need.

A little bit away from the center. You can still walk, but a short bus ride is necessary most of the times and bus schedule is not so frequent.
All is about the house is great. All facilities were great and as it is fully furnished house, can be comfortable for longer stays. As we stayed only three nights, could use most of them, though.

Just something to be aware of...the apartment is on the 3rd floor which means carrying heavy luggage up 6 flights of stairs. A proper bread knife would be useful
A modern well cared for apartment with a tiny balcony for evening drinks or morming coffee. The location is good...one can walk to the city centre (about 2 kms) but there is also a bus stop very close by. The owner was helpful and friendly and provided little extras like pastries and a lovely bottle of wine. Gracie!

Very comfortable well equipped apartment in a lovely area of Florence. Vito had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us with snacks. It is very near the bus stops and a lovely shopping area.

The apartment is very clean and cosy, the bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Also very friendly and welcoming host Vito who went out of his way to make our stay in Florence an amazing one. We had an emergency delivery which Vito helped to coordinate and personally pick up for us. Thank you so much for the stay!

There is no elevator. However, it is common all over Europe. So be ready to lift your baggage.
Apartment is very spacious. There are 2 air conditioners that were so convenient, considering how hot it is outside in July. There is also a washing machine👍🏻 Location is also very good. If you become familiar with public transportation there is direct route to the city center.

Very cozy apartment, perfect for two people. The bathroom is very clean, the bed is comfortable. A bus stop is right next to the building, it takes 15-20min to get to the city center.

It's a bit far from the city centre compared to most other accommodations, but Florence is a nice place to walk and we discovered nice places between the accommodation and the city.
A beautiful apartment in a beautiful neighbourhood. It's a spacious, welcoming, and clean place about 20 to 30 min walk from the Duomo. We didn't get to meet Dario, but he was such a lovely and accommodating host, and very quick to reply to any of our questions. He kindly shared with us advice and recommendations for Florence, and also provided some snacks in the apartment for us.

There was nothing we didn't like about this property. Everything was perfect!
Our stay at Casa Nanà apartment in Florence was fantastic! The apartment was fully equipped, very clean and modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of snacks for breakfast and a bottle of great chianti wine that our host provided to welcome us. While the apartment was not located in the heart of the tourist attractions, we found the neighborhood to be great. It was quiet and peaceful, with plenty of local restaurants and shops to explore. Plus, it was easy to take public transport or a taxi to get to the main sights of Florence.

Only small issue: The shower was leaking, so had to mope the floor after taking shower 😔
I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Nana. Great location - 20 minutes walk from the Duomo. It has everything You needs. Clean, spacous. WiFi is strong enough for working. Dario is amazing host, couldn't have asked for a better one!

The location - 30 minutes walk from the central part.
We stayed in Casa Nana for 5 nights. The place is very cosy for two people, clean and at a good location. Vito and Dario were extremely helpful even before we arrived. They replied to us without any delay, answered all our questions. They were truly welcoming. The biggest help was, when my daughter lost her wallet. Dario called Italian services for us, because no one could speak English. He called the same place that my daughter did 10 mins after her and got a response after she was told that her wallet wasn't found. You'd be lost without Italian in Florence, but if you have these amazing hosts on your side, you have no reason to worry.
