“My partner and I, from the north coast of Ireland, had an unforgettable week at the beautiful Poggio Angelarosa. The hosts Antonella and Antonio instantly made us feel at home and were always on hand if we needed anything! Pontone is a little mountainous village with breathtaking 360° views of the coast and lemon-straddled mountains, offering peace and tranquility away from the bustling streets of Amalfi town.
The room was everything we had hoped for, nestled at the end of the winding path of the lemon garden. The shower made our bathroom feel like a Roman bath, a lovely surprise feature that added to the experience.
The bus stop is located a short 5 minute walk from Poggio Angelarosa and takes you to neighbouring mountain towns or to the coast, with a local grocery shop (which also sells bus tickets) and incredible restaurants right at your doorstep. If you enjoy hiking like we do, you may also wish to take the stairs from Amalfi, but be prepared for a 30-45 minute hike! It's an unmissable hike if that's your thing.
Our hosts organised a dinner during our stay; the food was amazing, plus we met people from around the world and were joined by two incredible local musicians playing some Italian classics.
We couldn't recommend Antonella and Antonio's place highly enough and can't wait to return for our next visit.”
“The owner, Enzo, is the sweetest person we met in our entire trip in Italy. He is super helpful and kind. As a sweet gesture, he even gifted us a box of chocolates for our journey ahead. There was coffee and breakfast available at the B&B. Enzo was very generous to give us welcome drinks as we entered. Room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities needed. The bathroom was bigger than usually seen in Italy and had ample amount of space. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Naples!”
“We stayed in this apartment for 8 nights. Roberto met us to hand over the keys and explained everything we needed to know via google translate. The location is good, just a short stroll to Toledo Metro Station and the Port where you can catch the local ferries. The apartment is accessed via a locked gate at street level and 2 internal locked doors so is very secure. There are 3 flights of stairs but this wasn't a problem for us. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Thank you Roberto for a wonderful stay in Naples.”
“Very good room with all the facilities available, we washed the clothes there also.
Cooked food and everything was there, cutlery and anything needed.
And the decoration of the room was pretty nice.”
“This recently renovated villa offers a spectacular view and is fully equipped with modern amenities. Located just a 2-minute walk from the bus station, it provides both convenience and comfort. The entire property is immaculately clean, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. We were excited.”
