My room was right by garden and on the lower floor there were a group of men right outside my window who were smoking and could see right in to my room and I had to keep my curtains closed and cause of the smell of smoke I could not open my windows it was a warm day also there should be a net or at least blinds up so people can't see in your room I was a female on my own and found this not acceptable I go around hotels often and love using the facilities which this hotel was all good except for this one issue amd for me this was a big issue due to my past

Cleanliness in room was.lackikg with a hair found on the bathroom.sink and dusty lampshades

Having to pay for the car park!!

Friendly staff. Good facilities with pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and a well equipped gym. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was lovely.

Nothing to be negative about if I'm honest.

The staff at the desk and everywhere else I encountered them were super helpful. I ate a post-marathon dinner in the restaurant and the food was good value although the race had sapped my appetite. Had the beef ribs one of which just fell lusciously off the bone and the other one a little drier but not so much it wasn't enjoyable. The room was a good size for this solo traveller and I made use of the spa which was more than adequate for my needs. Highly recommended 👌

Rude member of staff in the spa put me on edge and I didn’t really understand why she couldn’t just be friendly like everyone else there. I think when you’ve paid almost £300 for a night, £10 for 12 hours parking is a bit much.

No fridge in the room, and forniture is a little old. There is only a set of curtains that cimpletley block light. Because all windows give to the garden, all can see inside the room from the window. The only option for privacy is to close the curtains even in the day, and use the lights. If thy had an extra set of light curtains you could still have sun and privacy.

Friendly staff and big room. Very nice surroundings in the green. Facilities and restaurant are good.

The rooms further away from the pool (our room) smelt a bit damp although no signs of damp and the building is extremely clean. The bed was a bit squeaky but no issues with the room. We could not eat in the restaurant as there seemed to be fully booked however, there were many tables free! The swimming pool did not open until 9am for family swimmings however, check out is 11 which was a bit of a rush. As we had to have breakfast first which didn’t feel pleasant swimming after a full stomach.

Spacious rooms, Room service, Very clean, Son had a string bag of Easter treats - colourings, book, bottle etc. Stayed a few times and always been pleasant stays.

The only bad point I gave about this hotel is the £50 holding fee that they take. I had no idea about this until I got here , and now it takes a few days to go back into your account. I stay In many hotels regularly and have never heard of this . Imagine if you didn't have the £50 and only enough for the actual hotel fee. You wouldn't be able to stay. Its a bit naughty I think.

The family changing room when we used the pool, it seemed to be used as a storage room aswell.

The staff were amazing and friendly. The pool had a child throw up in it and the staff managed to arrange for us to use another hotels pool for free.

Breakfast was a let down. Oddly everything tasted sweet even the bacon was sickly sweet. More options needed for hot breakfast.
