Change of towels

I liked there was a table in room to eat off, two fans in the room was great, most comfortable bed, the little extras in room, homemade cake, fudge, biscuits, and I mentioned I was coeliac and Karen gave me gluten free nibbles for the room and each time we went out for the day. Hospitality was excellent lovely hosts couldn't do enough for us Thank-you so much.breakfast was excellent.

Everything was perfect. A small room which is expected for a single booking with everything you need. Home baked goods as treats - all gorgeous, especially the chocolate tiffin! The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was high quality. Breakfast was scrumptious. Thank you ladies 😁👍

Karen and Alison were the best hosts ever made to feel so welcome was our anniversary gave flowers and cards the food was excellent and the free cakes were fab would definitely recommend and we will be back

Really enjoyed my stay here where Alison and Karen were very friendly, approachable, personable and considerate of my needs for my stay. Room was clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Blue swallow is a great location base to visit Penrith and the surrounding areas. Their home baked treats were lovely and breakfast was great. Would happily return here if I'm ever back in Penrith.

There was nothing we didn't like at all it was all amazing

Karen and Alison are both fantastic at what they do. The blue swallow is an amazing place to stay made better by the care and attention that Karen and Alison put into everything nothing is too much trouble and they are always willing to go that extra mile. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place to anybody and will definatley be going back again without a doubt. The breakfasts are to die for so filling.

Bathroom was tiny with a sliding door but that’s minor compared to the fabulous welcome you get throughout your stay

Fabulous welcome from start to finish. Breakfast was absolutely scrumptious albeit in the basement every effort had been made for a super stay at this lovely B&B. Immaculately clean and super comfy beds and added bonus of home made biscuits in our room with tea coffee. Recommended to all my friends 😃

Parking was a little difficult being on such a main road but our hosts let us park in their back yard which managed to get our 2 Cars in with a squeeze.

The breakfast was excellent. A lovely choice which we made the night before. I chose fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by bacon tomato poached eggs and mushrooms which we're cooked to perfection.The fact that I needed breakfast at 6.15 was no problem to Karen and Alison. It was always service with a smile!

This B and B exceeded my expectations in every way to the point that I do not have anything to discuss concerning any negative experiences at the Blue Swallow. I would come again with no concerns whatsoever.

The Blue Swallow is a superb B and B run by the owners Karen and Alison as very much a 'home away from home', Nothing that I asked for was too much for them. It was a great weekend and the fact that I was in the Blue Swallow made it even better"!

There is nothing to dislike - Loved everything - nothing out of place. Great location in Penrith and central to all amenities. Good local knowledge and advice on where to eat and what to do locally

Blue Swallow is a wonderful gem of a place. The property is very well decorated and maintained and perfectly clean. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and very approachable, but providing help and assistance as required, professionally and respectfully. Excellent breakfast and great selection. They provide are wonderful little additional extras and attention to detail which made the stay perfect. Highly recommended- thank you
