  “The room was clean, certainly, and the bed was not at all bad. The restaurant was not overpriced, and the food quite acceptable, though not exactly michelin-star standard. The place was exactly what it says on the tin, basic, comfortable, good for a one-night stay to break the journey north. Surprisingly, we could not hear the motorway, which as a real bonus! You don't expect, or need, a place with a great deal of character if you are just stopping for one night to break the journey!”
