Electric car charging point advertised on Booking.com but there wasn’t one.

Good size room. Tea, coffee and basic breakfast laid on at no additional cost. Clean and tasteful decor. Convenient to local shops.

I would much prefer a cooked breakfast, I felt it was a little confused as to its identity the business cards in the room said bed and breakfast but other signage said it was room only and the breakfast items left were a bonus if you like, the items were okay but when you are travelling a cooked breakfast is more sustaining, also had an issue with the shower I couldn’t get hot water through but that was probably down to me not reading instructions so I had a bath instead which I have to say I really enjoyed😊

The room was lovely and airy, well appointed and tastefully decorated very clean and comfortable, toiletries provided were very nice quality. The owner welcomed me she was lovely and friendly.

Lovely friendly meet when I arrived. Room clean and had everything you needed. Fridge in room with milk (tea with proper milk :-))a yoghurt, cereals provided. Great value for money. In a quiet location - no road noise.

There really wasn't anything I disliked.

The provided items were completely adequate and mirror what I do at home.I found it very comfortable and really appreciate the fact that despite my long term insomnia I slept well both nights.

The location was amazing we were met on arrival by the lovely owners who had allowed us early access due to attending a wedding. It was clean, with wonderful options for breakfast help yourself options. All round I would come again Many thanks

Easy to find, excellent parking. Access to building was sent ahead and the keys were ready for us when we arrived. My daughter and I were in separate rooms but each was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Nice selection of complimentary breakfast items and tea/coffee making facilities. Towels and toiletries provided. A lovely place to stay for a weekend.

If I am being picky the TV could have been a normal size rather the smaller wall mounted version high on the wall in the corner and the provision of soft chairs rather than the outdoor dining set type which were not very forgiving when craning your neck to watch the TV.

Size of room, comfortable bed and location. Good nights sleep had with plenty of choice of breakfast items freely available.

Nothing, everything was great.

Billed as room only but a really lovely continental breakfast left in the room with a food station for more breakfast supplies downstairs. The room had everything needed in it and was very clean & comfortable. Everything had been thought of from well-placed plug sockets to toiletries to extra pillows. Plenty of parking, easy access instructions and very friendly owners/staff.

Poor lighting in the bathrooms make it a little difficult to see but it’s not that bad. Didn’t like the extractor fan that came on everytime you entered either, triggered by movement rather than the lighting BUT there is most likely a very good reason for this as the rooms are panelled and damp may be a concern as these rooms were once a barn.

Lovely hidden gem of a property! If you’re looking for a simple, clean, easy going place to stay then it’s perfect. With the added benefit of having breakfast in your room, complete with mini fridge stocked with fresh milk (so much better than those vile little plastic milks!) and yogurts, as well as a place to make toast and grab fresh fruit on your way out the door!! What’s not to love! The rooms are spacious and warm with plenty of wardrobe and draw space.

The breakfast was continental style which suited us and being able to have in your room was a bonus. They provided everything we needed. Would definitely go again.

My colleague and I arrived very late after a long day at work and a long drive in cold weather. Having never stayed here before and being aware that it was cold I had packed a hot water bottle. No need! I had a call late in the evening to see how we were doing and as we were still driving up I was talked though access to the premises. On arrival, entry was easy to the premises and to our rooms. My room was warm but not stuffy. There was a bath and overhead shower. I cannot comment on the shower as I did not use it but had a bath with plenty of hot water. Plenty of clean towels and shower/washing substances. There is a continental breakfast with a kettle and variety of teas and coffee. I had a small fridge which had milk in it. It was welcoming and perfect. My colleague took a card for the details (I had booked) for future use.

Lovely room, nice and clean and warm. Added bonus of having continental breakfast in the room with plenty of tea and coffee. Perfect location for visiting family, plenty of parking and close enough to local amenities.
