Positive section of review
We had a very pleasant stay at Studio Baixa Downtown Porto during our visit to Porto. The studio is very nice, comfortable and clean, conveniently located amidst a lot of points of interest. But what really impressed and touched us was the service provided by Lorenzo and Nilde. It went beyond the expected standards.Their sensitiveness to the individual needs of their quests and the willingness to be of maximum support is outstanding. Thank you very much!

Beautiful apartment, with great facilities. Awesome location. Hosts were communicative, contacting us before arrival to ensure we had details for key pick up, checked to ensure safe/easy arrival and offered commendations for restaurants. Note: we had (arguably) the best room! (Studio rooftop) but it did require us to walk up the stairs. No problem, if you’re ok with stairs.

Everything was splendid, except the weather. But we couldn't blame the hotel for that... The garden is a lovely place in good weather and the hotel building is something of its own. Don't forget to study the fantastic parquet floors and the decorations! Small but sufficient room (in the tower), very good beds, good breakfast and no noise.

The location is a little bit off, 15-20 min walk from the city center. The metro is however close and buses from outside the hotel take you half way down-town. The nearby surroundings a bit disheartening with many deserted and decaying buildings.

It's a beautiful, clean, and modern renovated century home. Beds were comfy and washroom and kitchen were clean and had all we need.

The major subway and road repairs currently underway the area were a bit of a nuisance and, had we known about it in advance, we'd likely have opted to stay elsewhere. Having said that we still enjoyed Porto Deluxe.

More than one set of keys would have been useful for us. And there isn't any shops within walking distance, which is something to note for others.

The apartment is located in a small narrow street with tattered houses and right in front of the door is a local pub with drunks... We did not feel secure.
