It was a perfect place to arrive at after an overnight flight. I was amazed and delighted at how quiet it was.

The only issue is that the bathroom sink takes a while to empty. Old building so I totally understand, the shower was great.

Everything was good, but there is some room for improvement. Used apartment (a bit outdated), clogged sink in bathroom, very dirty microwave oven (inside), no blackout curtains (wood shutters don’t protect from sunlight)

Staff were wonderful and so helpful. The communication was really quick and you couldn't want for anything. I checked in late and the instructions to do so were really clear and easy to follow. The apartment was a really good size. The bed was big and there were all the facilities you could want including a little dishwasher and coffee machine. Great location a short walk from everything but very quiet. Good transport links and a local supermarket on the same road.

Although not directly related to the place itself, a shop/party nearby was playing some loud music two nights out of three, which made some early sleep difficult (but maybe because we’re old people too B-)).

Very well positioned, clean, modern and with a very helpful staff. The optional parking spots are also a good plus for those traveling by car.

The back facing room was super quiet and comfortable. Everything in Porto was a 15-30 minute walk. I would stay here next time I’m in Porto!

One of the towels left to us was torn and had a hole in it. This was probably overlooked because they were probably mass washed. Also be careful with the coffee machine, as you have to stop the machine at some point, otherwise it overflows the cup. Except these minor issues, I cannot think of anything negative.

We have truly enjoyed our stay. The studio is very spacious even better than the photos show, and filled with light thanks to tall windows. Everything is well cared and thought. Although we had limited time for sightseeing, we ended up spending some of that time in the room, as it was so enjoyable. The communication with the hosts was excellent and the instructions were clear. The location is great as well. It is not right in the center of everything, but in a quiet and nice area, in walking distance to the main sights. We would definitely prefer to stay here again, if return to Porto in the future.

We could not get the coffee machine to work in the morning and there was no one around to ask. The water wasn't working for some of the morning so we were late leaving for the day as we were waiting for showers.

The location was excellent, we really enjoyed the surrounding area. The apartment was spotless and very spacious. The person who checked us in was very helpful.

Could hear noise from other rooms but it wasn’t a big issue. Shower could get slippery so caution needed.

So close to the city centre, felt safe, close to a supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants. Quiet so slept well at night. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

It was definitely what I was looking for, so that's hard for me to find something wrong...so if I'm forced to find some, I'd say maybe a wider window 🤷🏼‍♂️

The apartment has everything I needed, it has good furniture and the ambient is comfortable. I could rest without any problem, cook something by myself and watch tv. If you're looking for a place where to sleep between your tourist days in Porto, that's the perfect one. There were also a lot of families in other apartments and they looked so relaxed and satisfied by their staying. So I can say that Downtown Lovers Suites are recommended to everyone! A great thank you to Márcia and Beatriz, they are so kind and really available to help you! I'll consider to book again here for my future visits to Porto!
