Kim Hotel is located in the backpacker's area of Pham Ngu Lao - Bui Vien Street, just 5 minutes' drive from Ben Thanh Market. Kim runs a smooth operation here and is the sweetest host. Room is large and feels like a studio apartment. Air con works very well. Everything is clean. It’s old school vibes with the dresser and closet. Bathroom is fine and there’s hot water but bring your own soap / shampoo. Laundry available for 30K. Location is right on Bui Vien street. It’s an old building with some cracks and there could be cockroaches, but they killed them for me and always made sure I was safe and comfortable. Still 5 stars for price, value, location, host.

Duc Vuong Saigon Hotel - Bui Vien is just 400 metres from 23/9 Park and provides free WiFi access in public areas. Location and breakfast... I don't know how other complains about the noise around the area. First of all the noise from the outside is not as much as others complaining about, it is very minimal and just enough to give you a goodnight sleep. Secondly, the hotel is just 1min walk from Bui Vien walking street so next time, just do a research before making a reservation on this hotel instead of complaining.
