Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

It is accessed along a small ,narrow country lane and the caretakers had sent us a message two days before check in with a mobile phone number to call, this automatically opens the gates . The hotel and its setting were a surprise for us as it is in a completely rural setting with lovely gardens. The hotel supplies continental breakfast but has no restaurant yet, I understand that one is planned , together with a liquor license . There is a communal kitchen guests can use to cook supper and use the breakfast room to eat , we brought food and it worked perfectly . The breakfast room also has tables outside in the garden and a BBQ and hot tub nearby . There are 2 cosy lounges with comfortable armchairs looking onto the garden and one has a TV. The caretakers, Chelsea and Daren met us on arrival and took us to our room , they live on the premises and are both very helpful . Our room had a beautiful garden view , a desk and chair ,TV, and a very comfortable bed , the en suite shower is very large and efficient . Wifi throughout the property was fast and all the traditional windows have double glazing so property ,although old, is warm . The gardens are quite large and worth exploring , there are horses and ponies on site . We had a very enjoyable one night stay on our way to the airport , we will stay again.
