Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed . The bathroom is a little dated but spacious and clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We had dinner there most nights and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff is probably the best asset of this resort. Everyone is so pleasant and extremely helpful. We didn’t realize that the campground was a part of the hotel property. But actually,that just added to the appeal . And since we were traveling for 6 weeks having access to a washer and dryer was so convenient. We did walk into the center of the town of Passignano a few times during the day, but I wouldn’t do it at night because you are walking on a very busy road. Access to a car is definitely a plus to explore the beautiful area. Upon writing this review we’ve been to two other locations, and we keep wishing we were just back on the lake !

Aganoor’s rooms are all air conditioned and feature private bathroom and TV. Most of them have antique furniture and wrought-iron beds. A very centrally located hotel. Excellent staff and services. A delightful breakfast was included in our package. Great in house restaurant. Grazie mille.

This charming hotel is ideal for those wishing to combine a relaxing holiday with some cultural sightseeing. It is located 1 km from the historical centre and the train station of Castiglione del Lago. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent service from reception/bar, breakfast, bicycle rental. Rooms were nice, and spacious, decor needs a little updating but everything was clean. It was a walk away from the train and also the castle. Although the hotel helped get us to the train station in the heat of the day. Overall a really pleasant experience for the little time we stayed there.

The room, location, amenities (pool, bar, restaurants) are all individually fantastic, but the main reason I would come here again is the friendly staff. Gianni, the owner, is the man who knows everyone and will assist with anything, he is the main reason I will be coming back in future.
