How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We really didn't like the coffee. And the bed mattress was too soft.
The hotel staff at the desk and at breakfast were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was rich and surprisingly nourishing and the breakfast room was nice, on top of the building. It was very close to Tram T1 to the centre and the room was very clean

This hotel is the best value for money hotel you can possibly get . It is in the center of the town , close to all attractions . The staff were amazing , Vlad and khorshid and honestly all of them were really great and they will help you with a smile on their face . We walked to all the tourist attractions and saved lots by not having to take a taxi . Very close to the subway station . Breakfast was really great 👍

The bathroom was small, the door didn't open fully. The smell coming from the pumbling.

Little bit noisy surrounding
Wonderfull location: close to T1, Aksaray metro station, havaist bus stop and historical centre Good and versatile breakfasts, cozy and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth it money

Excellent breakfast with hot and cold food, a variety of cold cuts, salads and fruit not to forget delicious Turkish cakes and biscuits. It was served on a floor which overlooked the city and even the sea. Spotless rooms cleaned daily and an attentive and really helpful staff who made me feel at home. The staff were the best at hospitality I have ever experienced!

Assalam Alikum, I stay with 2 toddler's. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The rooms were big and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. The balcony is very small, smaller than expected, is it french balcony maybe ? Could not use it for smoking outside of the room as planned

We stayed 4 nights, in some nights on our floor was very noisy, the soundproof of the rooms wasn’t very good. The breakfast was ok for the space they had on the terrace, on one day we needed to share a table with another family because they didn’t have enough room for all of us. The view on the terrace isn’t as described but you can clearly see the city!
Very clean property, the location was placed very well, we did 15-20 min to every important location worth a visit, using the local tramvai. The staff was very nice and kind with us, specially Vladimir, the sir that worked the night shift during our stay. They changed towels and give free water, coffee, tea, every single day. They agreed to do an early check-in, and Vladimir helped us with our transport from the hotel to the airport. Definitely recommend it for a 4-5 day visit to istanbul, based on the placement of the location, kind staff, clean rooms

Great location in the center of the city. Good tram and metro connection to and from the airport. Personell was very kind and helpful.

It was a little warm in our room, regardless of the temperature outside. Otherwise nothing.
We stayed 1 night and it's a good Hostel, very good breakfast on rooftop. Rooms are clean and confortable. Everything is designed to make you comfortable, fruit was even distributed to us at night and water/tea/coffee was replenished daily.

The only drawback in breakfast was the juice, it was like a concentrate, as if the powder had been diluted with water. I think we should serve normal juice
