Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenThe hotel is close by the beach, about 5 min walk. It is old, but clean, yet we had a funky smell in the bathroom. The balcony was very cozy with a nice view. The towels were clean but old. Yhe breakfast was great, a lot to choose from. Even thought the hotel is a bit away from the bars, one could still hear quite a lot of noise from them. Overall we had a good stay for a few nights.

United KingdomFood choices were a bit underwhelming for the buffet/half board option. Steps up to rooms would be an issue for some so should be advertised accordingly
Fantastic views and room. Staff friendly and attentive. Good location in quieter part of Oludeniz Beach

United KingdomAs previous visitors have mentioned there are a lot of steps to negotiate but help was given to carry bags and no steps no view! The room was rather dark but this would help keep it cool in hotter weather. The one thing we didn’t enjoy and, this was nothing to do with this hotel, was the loud music and singing from another hotel in the town, which kept going until about 1am in the morning.
The location is stunning as the hotel is tucked into a hillside with views over the little town down to the sea. The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped and the bathroom was particularly good with a large walk-in shower. All the windows had mosquito mesh fitted, so you could have them open at night without worrying about being bitten. The breakfast/dining terrace had a fabulous view of the sea and the buffet breakfast was very good.

United KingdomSometimes the room was a little noisy at night while trying to sleep due to local dogs barking and traffic noise (as well as other inconsiderate guests talking loudly at 3am outside our room). being very early season the traffic and town noise wasn't too bad - I can imagine that this gets more problematic later in the season. We booked half board and the adults enjoyed the food, but we hadn't realised that the menu for the evening dinner was unknown, and down to the chef on the day - there was not different food options for children, they were given whatever the adults had. You had no choice of what to eat, so we found that we needed to order additional food for our children on two of our three nights. Not a big deal, but we'd have probably skipped the half board had we known and just ordered from the menu instead. The food itself was very good and we would still very much recommend eating in the hotel restaurant.
Family of four (kids age 7&9). Family Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Pretty setting just away (but within walking distance) from the centre of oludeniz.

This place is definitely a good option if you would like to stay in Oludeniz. The room was clean, comfortable, quite spacious and had good lighting. The bed was quite comfortable and the AC was working, which was great to make it more comfortable. The breakfast option was really good- lots of options to choose from and the view from the restaurant was lovely. The staff are nice and friendly too- thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

MauritiusEverything was great except we got a call at 22.30 from the reception disturbing our sleep and insisting to bring passport at the reception immediately since they messed up taking the necessary information upon check in. Also they did not provide clean towels and shower gels on our second night. We advised the reception of same. He said needful would be done but same was still not provided. Apart from these, I would still recommend the hotel as a nice place to stay.
Great location. 5 mins walk from the beach. Best rooms are located up the hill and large terrace with private jacuzzi. You also get a very nice view of the sea if you don't have any problems climbing up the stairs. Special thanks to Naz from the restaurant who was very nice and welcoming.

United KingdomDuring our stay we did not require housekeeping to make the room, but not a single day drinking water was made available to us, as well upon arrival at the room staff had enjoyed their tea and cigarets on our porch but did not bother to clean up after themselves.
Nice quiet property with clean surroundings.

UkraineInsufficient reading light in the bungalow. It can be quite noise in the neighborhood at night. Parties used to stop around midnight - 1 am (November).
I chose this hotel to be able to walk to Kidrak beach (about 30 min walking), Oludeniz beach (5 min), and Blue Lagoon (15 min). Symbola hotel has a lovely vibe, located on a slope of the mountain, with colorful lanterns that look pretty at night. The breakfast, included in the price, was very good. And having it on the terrace with the sea view was relaxing. I was staying in two different rooms : bungalow 122 and stone room 109, end of Oct - beginning of November 2023. Bungalow has a lovely balcony with jacuzzi. Trying it at night under the stars with pines around was a beautiful experience. Bungalow 122 is located over the hotel restaurant with a glass roof, it gave me a chance to watch live musicians working there from the top :) The tricky part for me was the acoustics. In bungalow you can hear all the sounds coming from the village way to well. So trying to sleep early was tricky due to live music and discos around. I also found bungalow quite dark inside at night, there was not sufficient light to read in the room. Stone room 109 was also lovely, with a quite big balcony and yet more beautiful view. There was enough light to read and wifi seemed to be working better than in the bungalow. In the stone room you feel presence of other guests more than in a bungalow. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Left me feel very happy with their assistance.

SwitzerlandBungalow rooms do not block the noise but we were there when there was a festival, so it’s not the hotel’s fault. Some of the food in open buffet remain there too long and loose taste, coffee definitely needs to be improved as it taste super weak.
The hotel manager Ferihan and her colleague Muhammed were super nice and helpful for every request we made. When there is good staff in a hotel, it definitely makes a difference! The location was good, away from the crowd and noisy streets of the town, room was clean with perfect size.

GermanyThe breakfast was rather modest. The coffee also wasn't great. However, I did enjoy the custom-made fresh omelette and watermelon.
The location was really great. The hotel is located a little bit away from the loud city center, on a hill, so it helps with the noise from activities in the center. In my opinion, this fact makes this hotel exceptional. However, for relatives with bad knees, it's not a great option due to the many steps. Beautiful plants, pink flowers, and birds. My family had a few different rooms, so I can say that those with balconies are located higher and have more light (and also the best view, but still more steps). The hotel is close to the beach. The sea is perfectly clean with amazing crystal blue water. Great staff, who speak multiple languages. Love this place.

Turkey1. Very expensive restaurant 2. Very audible room 3. I booked 1 double bed but there were 2 single beds. A receptionist suggested us to merge them, but I think they should have done it by themselves (and put some merging mattress on top) 4. There were a lot of dead flies in the swimming pool, so we did not even use it.
1. Great view 2. Nice looking hotel

CanadaTowels might be end of life, but they washed them daily. Coffee was poor, so ordered tea instead.
Nice view from our suite family suite. Reminds me of “Turkish” Provence. Charming hotel a little rustic, enjoyed the omelettes at breakfast. As pictured on website, overall. I liked the walk up hill, but not might be for everyone, was only 500m from the main strip.

RussiaIn the shower there were some hair, the ceiling lamp was missing as well as one of the shower doors (at least I think it should have been there). When we came the floors were super wet ( I do understand that we asked to hurry up with cleaning but still it was not safe). It was not that easy to climb to our room but it must be a problem more of my physical shape :)
