Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

HungaryWe got a basement room, and they were fighting some mold down there. Even through the staff were doing their best to clean it off and re-paint everything, it was noticeable. If you are allergic, I would not recommend, otherwise it was OK.

United KingdomSome of the beds were too soft for our liking. Sockets were at a distance, away from some of the beds.
The delux room we had was very spacious. Had a dining table along with 6 chairs. This was a great feature considering I had my children with me so when we brought food back we were able to sit around the table. Location was great, all mosques and amenity was very close by. Bed sheets & towels changed daily. Room was cleaned daily. All staff were very helpful & friendly.

SingaporeThe apartments were in a different building that does not have a lift. You might want to rethink your choices if you have big pieces of luggage and carrying a toddler. It will be unpleasant. Communication with the person on site is not really that great.

United KingdomOverall a good experience - G/F apartment in secure location and remarkably close to key local attractions including Sultanahmet square, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. Apartment had two spacious rooms and also comfortable beds. Decor could do with upgrade particularly the flooring and better range of utensils for self catering meals would be useful - although breakfast is also offered at the hotel opposite.

Great location. All tourist attractions are on walking distance. Also restaurants and mini market nearby. Hosts Mr. Arif and Mr. Haleen were very helpful.

United KingdomThe property stated that we would get a sea view which was not true! The property did not have a lift which meant we had to climb 3 + 1 floors to get to the room which was not good on the third floor. After speaking with manager he stated he couldn’t do anything! The iron board was broken and the fridge was not working and leaking. The boiler was also leaking. The shower head was filthy! The room service was no good at all. The lady would only come and take out the bin and thats all! No tea cups or cutlery! Windows were filthy and not clean.
Plenty of bath towels.

United KingdomWe met three staff members and one of them was not polite or caring at all. One of the children was not feeling well and was feeling cold, asked for an extra blanket, refused completely. The lady who came to clean only emptied the bin and did not change bedsheets or clean the tea area in 5 days. The kettle was broken and was replaced with another old one. The AC broke down and two of us were accommodated in another room mainly because the staff member changed. Rooms in the hotel are in a much better shape than the family rooms. 6 people, one bathroom and the water leaked as well.
