There is kitchen but we were not allowed to cook fish or meat. Cook rice only. In the description there was washing machine, but in reality, it was not accessible to guest. We were offered laundry with a price that we thought a bit pricey.

This apartment is close to main tourist area. Easy to reach and no hilly street. So elderly and people with small children can comfortably stay here. The host is waiting outside so no problem. We were also allowed to check in earlier. Btw, whoever done the cleaning, she should be given top salary. The apartment was super clean every where.

The dinning place is really small, and cooking is really simple, it is good for most eating outside just good for simple breakfast.

The traffic was horrendous at peak times during rush hour. I would highly recommend anyone staying in this area to book an early cab at least an hour or two earlier than usual. We just managed to catch our flight thanks to our amazing cab driver.

The location was perfect for visiting the sights. The main Mosques were five minutes away on foot. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Reasonably quiet at night. Good air conditioning. Kitchen was good as was the bathroom. The host Fehmi was really polite, friendly and helpful especially when our cab was late. He spoke on our behalf to the cab driver on the phone as he had got lost in the traffic and was late.

The bathroom is tiiiiny. That's probably one of the biggest downsides. One day a bad odor came from the kitchen sink. Not too bad, but a little bit unpleasant. The kitchen stove is old and rusty and needs to be replaced. Thankfully, there is a kettle. Not too well equipped. For example we didn't find an iron and there were only a few napkins available. The windows didn't seem to close perfectly. They let a little bit more noise inside than they should have. But I am perhaps a bit picky here. In the end, none of these downsides were too bad. As I said, we had a nice stay there.

First and foremost, the excellent location. That's mainly why I gave this location a high score. In just 150m or so, there is the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome. Then there is Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. The bazaars are also around 1km away. We also found a restaurant/fast-food with good prices and good food called Razim in the area. There is also a minimarket just around the corner. Oh, and it's sufficiently far from the mosques' speakers. The father of the owner, Mr Fehmi, is a very nice person. He also reserved some parking spots for us right in front of the building for 6 euro per day. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Not a complaint but modernization of property, especially the bathroom, would benefit it - this doesn't take away from the stay however. Perhaps a sign outside the property as it was initially a little difficult to find - again, not something that took away from the stay.

Fantastic location: enabled you to see all the sights of the golden horn by foot. Host was friendly and flexible regarding the check-out process. Having access to the terrace was a nice addition in the evenings.

property was clean and all the equipments were operational. the location was fantastic. it’s literally 2 mins away from SultanAhmet square. the owner is very professional and explained to us about everything. the heating was very good and after a tough day of roaming outside in rain or cold, the heating really took out the tiredness easily

We cooked our own breakfast, the apartment is very close to the major textile wholesalers like suits, handbags, dresses etc., and also very close to tourist places. There are also so many tourists which makes the apartment feel safe

A bit small, we were only two people, a brother and sister, and we felt it was a bit small. There wasn’t really a proper living room, per se. although the spacious bedroom could be used for that. I would’ve liked to have a frying pan to fry eggs in the morning, this may be simply a temporary minor issue that has already changed.

The beds were super comfortable. Very close to world heritage sites blue mosque, and Sophia mosque. Comfortably warm, excellent Wi-Fi. we felt safe. Both bedrooms were a good size with doors that locked. Our second level apartment had one bedroom with a large bed. The second bedroom had a twin bed with a sofa This bedroom also had the TV. The bathroom had a very spacious shower, and the on demand water heater provided constant warm water at just the right temperature for as long as you needed it.

We went over winter and the heater was not working properly but the hosts quickly responded to our complaint and told us how to fix this.

We loved the location of the place and the warm welcome and help from the hosts.

The apartment is a bit dated, and could have benefitted from a coffee maker. The bedroom curtains are quite light, could cause an early wakeup in summer though in November, it wasn't really a problem.

Nice location very close to the monuments of Sultanahmet. Parking right in front of the apartment for a reasonable fee. Very kind hosts, staying up late to meet us after a midnight flight. Spacious. Comfortable bed.

Only one set of towel/bed sheet provided for whole week! Problems with hot water and the host was very kind to send someone quickly however that didn't resolve the problem.
