Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe location is surrounded by very loud nightclubs and on our second night we were not able to sleep it was so loud from 12-5am. However, we asked and were moved to another location and slept much better the following night :)

United StatesThere could have been more kitchen utensils, but I understand the place is new and improving. The management was very responsive, however. No complaints. These are minor improvements.
The location was great. The management were nothing short of outstanding. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary during which was a long two-week trip, beginning in Ankara, then Cappadocia, and ending in Istanbul. The hotel gave us an upgrade and provided us with a bottle of wine. Great people. Again, the location is great. The place was very comfortable, and we felt very secure. We were well looked after.

United KingdomDue to the location being near bustling and busy streets, at night it would get a little loud but it was nothing very major!
The location was very close and walking distance to major landmarks and safe during the day and evening (avoid going out very late at night in general in the city). There was a bus stop right outside of the hotel which was so useful as we used public transport to get to and from many places. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted out any problems we had as soon as they could! They gave us an extra room as we were early for check in and at the end of the stay after check out kept our baggage for us in the hotel until we left. Overall really really pleased with the service!

UkraineSince the hotel is located on a busy street, I can’t say our room has good soundproofing, but for us it wasn’t an issue, as we explored the city all day and coming back home tired so immediately falling asleep
We spent 4 nights at this hotel with my sister and were pleasantly surprised by Naim's hospitality. Any of our requests were fulfilled, Naim was in touch and always helped and answered any of our questions regarding spending time in Istanbul since we were in this city for the first time. He and his team repeatedly found everything we asked for and gave it without charging any money, which is very rare in tourist cities, you know;) As a traveler who has visited more than 45 countries, I have only encountered such attention to guests in Indonesia and Thai, and now Istanbul has been added to this list due to the StayHub team. RussiaWe booked the hotel several months in advance. The evening before arrival, the staff from hotel called me and said that they had some problems with check-in and we would be living in another place for the first day. We were told to go from the airport to another hotel, where our contact person would be there and would help us with everything. We arrived, our contact person was not there, no one knew about us and everything was clarified on the spot while we stood and waited with our suitcases after the flight. Then, after some time, we agreed that they would take us by taxi to temporary apartments, where we were supposed to stay the first night. I must say that the apartment was really spacious with two floors. The next day we were checked into our hotel, which was originally booked. The staff moved our suitcases, but since there were valuables that we didn’t want to leave behind, we had to carry the heavy stuff with us all day instead of leaving everything in our room. When we arrived at the hotel where we were checked in, we realized that we had been given a downgraded room. We booked a triple deluxe room and were downgraded to a double deluxe room. When I called and said that we were placed in the wrong room, they told me that they would call me back. But no one called back, no one answered my calls or returned my calls. In the check out day we had to carry heavy suitcases down steep stairs; there was no elevator. At the bottom of the last section of the stairs there was not even a railing to hold on while dragging a heavy suitcase, which is unsafe. There is no one at the reception; just at the reception there is some kind of mini table. I don't recommend it

United KingdomWe booked a triple room but were given a double room instead for the first night of our trip, and were told that we would be moved into a suite for the remainder. However, we were then told we would have to stay in the double room for the whole trip, and had to haggle with the proprietor to be partly reimbursed for the downgrade. They failed to meet us at the agreed time to carry out the refund and we lost an hour in waiting. We also asked the property when booking to confirm that the kitchenette contained a microwave, cutlery, crockery etc., and they told us that this was correct, but in fact it only had a kettle and a fridge. We would probably not have booked this accommodation if the description (and response to our query) had been accurate. Another minor (for us) problem: there were ants in the room. Anyone else planning to stay here should also be aware that the neighbourhood is very noisy at night- we had brought earplugs, which were essential for sleeping.
Convenient location for Galata and for metro stations. Good Wifi. Comfortable bed, good shower.

FranceI reserved Deluxe Triple Room with Sofa of 25 sq m. It was not provided - the room was definitely much lesser - about 12-14 sq m. Without any sofa. Very poor facilities, bad location, very loud street, it was not possible to sleep because of noises outside. No lift, 4th floor without lift. Reception is absent - just a guy who takes the payments, most of time he is absent. I left the hotel after 2 nights, while I reserved for 4 nights. It s not really a hotel - just a collection of apartments.

AzerbaijanNot related to the host but that area in general is quite noisy, you just have to know it if you travel with kids and make your choice. For younger people it would probably not be a problem. We came for treatment so location was important for us.
The team was very helpful with any request we had. Special thanks to Tugrul bey. Everything we asked for was resolved very quickly. They helped us with taxi as well. And kept our suitcases after the checkout. The apartment is newly renovated and was very clean. Location is central as we wanted.
