How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location is very near to tram station Laleli and Metro Station Istanbul Uni, make it easy to go to anywhere by public transport.

There was nothing to dislike but just WiFi connection get very poor when occupancy of hotel is full this might affect some customers.
The staff are very helpful,location is the best u can walk to many attractions,breakfast was nice.i will recommend this hotel for families.

The size of the room is really small.. They have apartments also.. For the same price of the rooms.. Better take the apartment which is much bigger and also very clean.
..The hotel is very clean. Great location. Everything you need you will find in the room. Staff very friendly.. Breakfast was really nice. There is exchange currency office under the hotel and market and nice coffee shop just outside the hotel

Rooms are actually single rooms, only with double bed. Breakfast is bellow my expectation, just basic.

The breakfast was quite monotonous
The breakfast was ok but it should be improved upon by making it more intercontinental because you have guests from different parts of the world coming into Turkey

The beds weren't comfortable. The room for two people (two single beds) is a little bit too small. There is one small closet to hang your clothes.
There is a small fridge in the room. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Breakfast buffet Perfect location

Hotel is old.And location is not comfortable,unsafety area in the center of Laleli bazaar.Hard to get there by taxi and you have to walk to hotel.Rooms are dirty ,linens are old and we couldn't sleep cuz it itched. First day receptionist tried to move us to another hotel near there and pretended it as it is same hotel.Totally Im disappointed because in website they put old photos
Totally breakfast was simple and located in -1 floor .We cannot tell that liked it at all, cuz everyday was same .Only I can mention there cigara borek and sausage

WiFi connection is very bad. It keeps disconnected. Avoid this hotel if WiFi is very important to you. One elevator in the building! Breakfast buffet quality and variety is lower than other similar local Turkish hotels.
Price per night is very reasonable for what you are getting. Location is very good, close to major tourist attractions. Metro station is one minute walk. Market area is around the hotel. Money exchange and restaurants are very very close to the hotel

Most of the staff at reception are helpful except for one. He’s the oldest one of all of them, does day shift. When I politely tried to tell him my booking had 2 beds he kept talking over me and didn’t let me finish talking. Very rude, needs to learn manners to talk to customers.

Small room they mansion 18m but in reality it’s 14 m it’s to small for two persons even there is no space to put your luggage and the bathroom it’s a nightmare it has a glass around it which it’s make you uncomfortable when you’re traveling with your friend ( no privacy) and the breakfast was limited and the chef was dictating
Staff was friendly and location apart from those two things I did expect the mediocrity of this place
