Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainI think they can pay more attention to cleaning the rooms well. My room smelled like someone smoked there and they didn't flush the toilet when I entered the room. However, if you are looking for a place to be close to the airport and you don't mind much about how clean your room is, this could be a good place for you to stay.
What I liked the most was how friendly and helpful were the staff. The hotel was close to the metro which was really nice. There were some close places to eat and some banks near the hotel.

North MacedoniaNon-smoking room had such a bad tobacco smell that even the clothes soaked up the smell. The bed was so bad that it is hard to describe. The matrass was larger than the bed wooden frame so one end was sticking out and up. It had a spoon shape and made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. Bathroom smells were pretty bad and it was challenging to stay in it and use it. Shower stand completely broken so you could take shower with one hand only.
Pretty much nothing. Staff were friendly but place was just not good.

EcuadorMy cash and passports disappeared from the room. We went out to buy food and when we returned to the hotel my wallet was missing along with my passports. I filed the complaint at the reception and they told me that only one cleaning person was admitted. The people at the reception don't speak English and were very rude and even grabbed my arm when I started recording a video with my phone. I filed a report with the Istanbul police but the hotel did not give me any response. I request a refund and compensation and request that this hotel be removed from your database.
Nothing. The room was dirty and has a very unpleasant smell. They don't speak English at the reception and the cleaning staff stole my cash and my passports.
