Tho host was very nice and offered help for everything we need. He offered us to have tea, coffee and water anytime at the restaurant that is placed on the ground floor. The spirit and energy in the restaurant was great. Accomodation is really great placed, it is not luxury and cosy but it was everything we needed for 3 night stay in the city because we spent the most of the time outside. The beds were comfortable. There was music in the restaurant, but nothing so loud, so if you dont mind sleeping with music this is the perfrct place to stay.

The room was nice, hotel centrally located, and staff helpful. Keep in mind the hotel is associated with the restaurant at the location, this caused me confusion at first. Also no elevator, so if you have lots of or heavy luggage it might be more challenging going up the spiral staircase.

The room was quite small and only one bed sheet to cover.

The room was clean and the shower and bed comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind, the owner introduced herself while we were having coffee and they made themselves available at all times. Location is perfect, plenty of restaurants and cafes around, walking distance from many places, we even made our whole tour (to the bazaar and mosques) by walk.

It's a pretty old building, not newly renovated. If you come in a relatively cold season, keep in mind that the room is heated by an AC, which makes some noise. All these issues were minor and could be expected, considering the price :)

Extremely friendly and supportive staff! For such a central location in Karaköy it was relatively quiet and not much noise.

It was difficult to find the location as there is no any sign. we found it only thanks to the exterior photo that is in Booking. Our room was on the 5th floor and there wasn't elevator, and the stairs were narrow and somewhat uncomfortable.

The staff is very friendly. Sergei was on duty at night. He is very friendly and ready to help in everything, and also speaks russian. For no complicated guests, this accommodation can be a good value for money. The room was big and clean.

According to the room description the rooms are soundproof, but it was not true. Just like other reviews mention it, everything can be heard: the conversations in the house on the floors as well as the music coming from the restaurant downstairs (really until 1 or 2 am). So the accommodation is not recommended for those who want to relax. Also, it was a bit difficult to find the place because it is basically the upper part of the Sokak Karaköy restaurant. In addition, the room was on the fourth floor and there is no elevator - which was not a problem for us, but might be for someone else.

The room looked just like on the pictures. It was cozy and clean, but nothing special. The staff was very kind and helpful, our room was ready already before the check-in time. We also got extra bottles of water. The best is that the accommodation is in a really good place: close to the Galata Tower and Taksim Square, and also to public transport (e.g. tram, ferry). We also walked to the other main sights like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace.

our room was very noisy. During opening times of the restaurant we heard the music from downstairs quite loud (it stopped at midnight when we were there). The windows are soundproof, but unfortunately the door is not. A lot of noise was coming from the stair case. The door seemed like paper thin - when people were walking and talking in the stair case it felt like they were walking through our room. mattress was uncomfortable. We could feel the metal springs in our back.

This was the surprise of our trip. Of all the great places where we stayed this ons was probably the best. Modern comfortable room. Very clean. Excellent location. It is located close to sight seeing locations and trem station. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. A great stay.

If you are looking for a low-key spot in a phenomenal location, this is it! The staff is so friendly, the place is very clean, and it has an attached restaurant with an artsy vibe. Tables were full every night for the food, drink, and patio music. I Google Streetviewed the place beforehand, so I had no issue finding it a few footsteps off the main sidewalk. Solo traveler's dream in Istanbul!

The shower was broken so some days the water would be really hot and others it was really cold. The tap on the bathroom sink was also not great as you would open it and the water would come out so fast you would be soaked. There also must have been a hole in the tiles by the shower as every-time we would come out of the shower the floor would be covered in water.
