Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UzbekistanI was with my parents and they had some difficulty going up the steep stairs at the main entrance of the hotel. I would suggest to choose rooms with a view to the street or the sea, there is no enough air ventilation in rooms with landmark view.
It is in a great location.

HungaryThe breakfast was OK, but it featured more typical local dishes than elements of a conventional continental breakfast.
The location of the hotel is excellent, in the middle of the old town, close to the major sights, right on the main tram line. The room was nice and although the windows overlooked the main street, it wasn't noisy at all. The receptionists were kind and helpful.

PolandWe had some very visible greasy fingerprints on the window and on the door of the room, which made me think that the it was not properly cleaned.
We got a free room upgrade, so it was quite big and nice. The beds are comfy, the bathroom was also big and looked clean. We had a sea view from our room. The breakfast was fine, but there is no real coffee, just some instant powder instead. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is located right by the tramways, our room was quite, cause it was facing the other side.

United Arab EmiratesWhen we arrived at midnight they gave us a tiny room that had no window to outside which is different than the image provided, and no AC that could cool the room, after an argument with the staff they shifted us to another better humanitarian room with windows. Other than that it would be a perfect experience in the hotel
The location is perfect for shopping near grand bazar and misir souq, 5 min walk, the big windows that bring fresh air, good breakfast.
