How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location safe, quite and very close to Istiklal Street . The staff were very friendly especially Melek was very helpful. I had a little incident and she jump through and solve it right away very professionally. She offer me a complimentary breakfast.

Only that the breakfast didn't offer omelet station with live cooking but the staff was helpful and get you freshly cooked stuff as per your requirements. There's no muslim shower in the bathrooms. Swimming pool has strict policy to wear swimming costumes and cap for all ages
The whole experience was good. Excellent location such that its hardly a 5 min straight walk to Taksim Square. Good breakfast buffet, loved the honey comb, it was unique. Very accommodating and helpful staff, kept our luggage safe while we were away for 4 days to Antalya.

Loud rooftop climatization devices from the neighbouring hotels. It is uncomfortable to leave the windows open.

The cleaning staff were knoking at the door at 8 o'clock in the morning, not so great. The furniture little bit old and overall, the room needs a make up, but the location worths everything! Poor lighting.
Great staff, Kaan and Berfin took good care for us, the location is excelent, 5 minutes walk to Isticlar street an Taksim square, metro and other transport means. The breakfast was good, continental, with options for everybody. Also, they have parking.

Despite we had done the reservation via booking.com, at the end we had to pay cash on our arrival which was not planned.
Staffs were friendly. The location and access to the city center and historical spots were excellent. Considering the hotel is located is a lively neighborhood, the rooms were quiet. The traditional middle-eastern bath was clean and relaxing!

Very nice staff and great location. The only issue was my room had a cigarette smell even though I asked for none smoking. They ended up moving me to another room.

The window lock didn't work properly. One night it was extremely windy and the window kept opening. There was some dust on top of the table and some other furniture. The towels were pretty old and not very fresh.
The location of the hotel is really good. There is a bus stop of Havaist which runs to the airport every 30 min.

I don’t like , that we should call the cleaner to provide the box of tissues. And also the balcony doesn’t have a chair where you can et and enjoy your coffee.
I like the hotel location, its too near to Taksim Road and you can go many places by walk.

the timings of the swimming pool, and one of the room service guys opened the room at 8AM without our permission we were sleeping

Air conditioning not working because it’s cold outside, but on the other hand the pool was not heated- it was cold! Also the pool picture is from the 5 star hotel which is on the next door and you can go there if you ask!! still I think they should put the real picture of the real smaller pool that on this property, they do mistaken clients who wants to order here.
Staff was amazing!!! great and fast service!! Breakfast was good and feel all family needs. Location is great, close to metro and Istaklal Main Street, there are markets and restaurants nearby.
