How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

First night, I was in a room under ground. But after complaining, they transfer me to another room in the second floor much much better.

The breakfast in my opinion is not worthy but for the money that you pay for the hotel is fair, second day i preferred to have breakfast outside, and the room view terrible, it was a wall. So this hotel is really really just if you need to sleep and not pay so much money
The best was comfortable, the AC work the majority of the time, the staff were friendly and it was next to a restaurant, and my room was not noisy

The rooms are small, not sound proof , you can hear noise from other rooms above, below and close by. Facilities need more maintenance, taps, shower etc...
The location of the hotel is good, very close to attraction and facilities, also transport, supermarkets and restaurants. The breakfast was good with a variety of food. The team in the reception were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean

The initial room was extremely dark and squishy, we had to upgrade the room to get a little bit of space and light. We over booked some days and requested to have our days moved to when we returned back to the city & we were planning to extend as well there but we weren’t accommodated, this was the first hotel that I encountered this issue. We booked another day to stay for a few more hours before our flight because it would roughly cost as the same to pay for extra hours vs book for another day.
The staff were pretty good but Ahmet (arkadasim) went above and beyond to help us out. Genuinely a great young gentleman. Very sweet of him, he was finding very way to help you out, it’s great encounter staff who vibes on the same level as you. The other two gentlemen working there were also very helpful as well but we encountered them less. The location is pretty central. The breakfast is reasonable

We had a very pleasant stay there, the staff was extremely friendly, it was very clean, the breakfast was delicious. It is close, 7-10 min to Taksim square. The room was quiet and confortable. We were offered and accepted, transfer to aeroport- very easy and confortable (an hour away by car).

Heating system was not working well, if you are visiting in winter consider that it is cold in the rooms.
The location was just perfect, few minutes walking distance to Taksim metro. Staff were very helpful, especially Ahmet who helped us a lot. Breakfast was ok, do not expect fancy breakfast, just few options.

The personnel were very polite and good and responsible They brought us whatever we needed to the room so fast and so complete. Location of the hotel is very great, near taksim square and good access to public transportation. Very great access and very near to idp ielts test center if you plan to go to istanbul for the exam like us. Breakfast was not too fancy and diverse but very good quality, clean and with different options.
