Everything about this hotel is delightful. My mom and I were traveling to Istanbul for a week and this was an ideal place to start and end each day. We were supported by awesome staff who had a wealth of information for us. Our room was comfortable for two adult women, for sure. And the location is very close to so much we wanted to see.

Great and convenient location for a first trip to Istanbul. Staff is very polite, helpful and willing. Great value for money. Spacious rooms with fully renovated bathrooms. Complete breakfast. Great shower and water pressure as well :)

Everything was great

The hotel is located in a small quiet street, the position is excellent because it is close to tourist places like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc. It takes a few minutes to walk to the tram station. As for the hotel itself, it is very neat and charming. We stayed in double rooms and they were clean, the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff is extremely hospitable, helpful and ready to give advice for sightseeing. The breakfast was very good, and every evening after arriving at the hotel, we could treat ourselves to coffee and tea in our rooms. We would like to thank Salih and Yilmaz for their hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would choose it again the next time we visit Istanbul.

Room sizes are not great but not terrible.

The staff are brilliant and very friendly, knowledgeable & always willing to help. It is a basic breakfast and the some of the rooms are small in size but in my opinion that is reflected in the price.

My wife and I were traveling with our toddler and we found the location to be perfect. It was so convenient for us to get to the tram station which was 5 minutes away, and Sultan Ahmet was 4 minutes away. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a laundry shop literally across the their door which was super convenient for us. There were two big convenience stores 2 mins away. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was amazing with so many options to eat and everything was tasty and fresh. The hotel also had a lift which added to the convenience. Overall we had an amazing experience.

The Hotel transfer is unreliable. We paid 120 euros 2-ways from Sabiha Airport and in the arrival we waited 40 min for the transfer. From the hotel to the airport the transfer didn’t show up and the receptionist had to order a taxi for us. I wouldn’t recommend the transfer!!! - The breakfast was ok, but not offer many options.

The Hotel is well located - 5 min walk from Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque. The staff is helpful and friendly.

If you have any mobility issues, this hotel is not for you. The Artika Hotel is down/up a steep hill, and it might be challenging going down or up. (It was a great workout for me daily) I would stay here again, as I did enjoy the hotel.

Hotel manager Salih was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable for 2 people. Loved that the hotel is close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofifa and Tram line. Plenty of stores, cafés, restaurants, supermarket, and even a laundromat.

I don't have a single objection.

The hotel is wonderful, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were cozy, which was like an oasis when we would return dead tired from exploring the city. Bathroom was all right, the AC, the fridge, the safe and all the other facilities worked properly. All of the interior (and the exterior) is modern and nicely decorated. There is also a nice little terrace on the rooftop where we sat in the evening, looked at the sea and listened to the sounds of the city. Hotel's location is really convenient. All the best places are close by - Ayasofya and the Blue mosque are a five, and Topkapi palace a ten-minute walk away from the hotel. There are also some great restaurants in the vicinity. The neighborhood seems relatively safe and is just a short walk off a main street. Breakfasts were nice, there was plenty to choose from. There was some nice tea and coffee and a selection of fruits every morning. The dining room is cozy and kind of homey. The receptionists were both extremely sweet and helpful. Thank you both, guys, for everything - for asking about our preferences about the room, for organizing our ride to the airport, for recommending a place to eat, for lending us a transport card when we couldn't get our own, for recommending us the best places and routes around the city and for answering to all of our questions :) Cleaning ladies did a nice job, too. All in all, an amazing place to stay :) A bonus tip in the end: let the hotel organize your ride from the airport. We came to the city with the airport shuttle, then took a cab, and the driver really ripped us off. When we went home, we asked the receptionist to get us a taxi for a fixed price instead - it turned out to be much cheaper and we didn't have to transfer anywhere, we rode straight to the airport.
