Location is close to tram station. Beds are clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and approachable. Nice cafe with friendly cats on the ground floor. Dorm beds have bed light, sockets for charging and curtains for privacy.

too many random stuff in the shower room. people just leave their shampoo and soap there. please consider to provide shower gel and shampoo. you also need to have some electronica work on the room with hairdryer. The cable has already came out. the breakfast can serve slightly early if possible, 9 am is a bit too late. 7 or 7:30 will be good because some people would like to visit places early in the morning when there isn't many tourist.

the ambience of the cafe on the first floor is really cool. staff are friendly. location is good.

To come from the airport by bus is hard mission, super inclined way. The bedroom was super smelly, don’t know if because of someone there 😪

Nothing! Even though that there is no elevator one of the guests helped me to take my luggage upstairs so nothing to complain about :D

Hostel has amazing design and +10 for Griffindor for it. I like the idea of the cafeteria downstairs but beacuse my stay there was really short I didn't have a chance to try it. The personnel there was really helpful and nice. Tbh if I go back to Istambul definitely I am going to choose this place again (I spelt in 4 bed woman dormitory and I really recommend it.)

Just one the water cut off in the afternoon but i wont think it as their fault , I guess it was government repairs nearby and it would be great if the sheets are changed every 2 days for the long stayers without them making a request

First is the location it is perfect for anyone in need to go anywhere in Istanbul then its the comfort and most important part was how helpful the staff were.

The staff. I have stayed in many hostels before but people here are super helpful. Right from the time, I reached till I left, they were very warm, kind to guide me through. Worth the price and location was accessible to most of the tourist locations

Unfortunately there's no kitchen to cook your meals. Not a big deal, but just be aware of that.

Location is good and the dorm rooms are excellent! Lots of privacy because there are curtains, you get your own plugs and bed light. There are cabinets to lock your luggage in the room. Bathrooms are ok and internet worked very well.

Super friendly and helpful staff. There were a few hostel activities (simit breakfast and pasta dinner!) that helped me meet other travellers. Cafe was great to chill at and wifi was really fast. And staff were always happy to help refill water bottles using their filter tap - save the environment! Fabulous location too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Archeo Hostel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The hostel's location is excellent, providing easy access to transportation and making it convenient to explore the area. The rooms were not only clean but also very comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay throughout. The staff, particularly Temuujin and Cate, provided exceptional service, making my experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the presence of adorable cats in the hostel added a delightful touch to the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend Archeo Hostel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the area.

The hostel doesn't have a kitchen, unfortunatelly. Also, the street is very hectic and noisy till 1 or 2 am.

The room is very comfortable, with lockers and enough space, and beds also have little shelves built-in, which was very handy. It was never too sweaty as it usually is in men's rooms. The location is perfect for those who doesn't know the city well (because if you knew you would prefer a less touristic place to sleep). The personel is international and very friendly, some of them speak Russian and all speak English. The hostel is also a cafe and a gift shop with nice replicas of some pieces of arts. Sometimes they make free dinners or breakfasts, so you can meet new people and get free food:)

The beds were a little odd in the layout. While there are privacy curtains, the right side was completely open so there was no sound or light isolation between the lower and top bunk. Also the edge of the bed was very sharp, ended up scuffing my shin on the first morning trying to get out of bed. There is a nice cafe downstairs but a bit on the pricey side and it's really the only shared areas of the whole hostel.

Place on the whole is great value in a great location... the bunks were big and the bed was comfortable. Everyone working here is super nice and helpful.

The cleanliness of the shower room (some stuffs e.g. shampoo, shower gel and tooth paste, left by previous guest had not been taken out).

The staffs are superb especially Bora (who is so cool and edgy). They always served me patiently for 24 hours. And the bed was pretty clean and the noise cancelling curtain worked for me.

We stayed for five nights and the bed was not very comfortable for that length of time - it was fine, but no real headboard and only one pillow each that wasn’t the best quality, mattress pretty firm. The room needs a deep clean under the bed etc. but was clean enough. The door to the balcony is stiff and requires lifting to close (does not slide).

The location is ideal, close to the old town area but also walking distance to Galata and Taksim. The cafe is lovely and a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff are all friendly. We had a private room that had a little balcony which we enjoyed. Toilets and shower were cleaned daily and it’s a quiet hostel so no problems with late night drinking or noise. There’s also a hairdryer provided.

Since the hostel is on the 2nd floor of their cafe, there was not really a common space for the guests to chill without taking up tables of the cafe.

Good location within walking distance to different neighbourhoods. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a free breakfast once a week which brought guests together. The vibe of the hostel is relaxed but not a party vibe or where people really get together if you're looking for that. Good spacious room, privacy curtain, plenty of showers and toilet.
