Internet connection is very poor and the room is too small

I don't wish to say that i didn't like but wished that the hotel management could have helped us ( by making an exception to their rules due to genuine reasons ) with a refund for unutilused hotel rent which was genuine ( mother's medical emergency back home in India and as a son I had to be at her bedside) beyond our plans but as per God's dictum...my mother is saved and since discharged from hospital by the Grace of God

Me & my family came to Singapore with our lifetime savings. 3rd day into our trip I got a call from home about my mother's (87+yrs) medical emergency & hospital admission and we had to leave for India and left on the 4th day(12/05/24), thus balance 3 days of hotel stay was unutilused ...since I had paid for full 7 days rent in advance, i wrote to the management before leaving narrating the genuine reasons (my mother's medical emergency) and to consider my request for part refund for the unutilused rent (appx INR 42000/-) which they politely refused, citing hotel policy..for anyone in life, emergency is GOD's dictum and mine was a genuine case, having spent life savings thusfar for a trip but had to return for the cause of dear mother and adding further to the distress, we had to pay airlines Rs26,000/- towards preponemnet & rerouting of tickets back to india . I felt that business rules are to be viewed through the prism of humanity in exceptional cases and manmade rules should to be applied with a touch of humanity for genuine and appreciable reasons. Our stay at Robertson was really enjoyable and staff were always courteous and helpful...even as we were leaving to airport by cutting short our holiday on 12/05 evening, the lady at the front desk helped us by booking a metered taxi to airport at 1/3 of the rate as compared to Gojek which exhibited the helping nature of hotel staff which we really appreciated . I recently stayed at a hotel with tiny rooms, pie shape and abysmal wifi, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The rooms were cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably, and the wifi was incredibly unreliable. Despite assurances from the staff that they were working on fixing the internet, it remained unusable for three days. This made it nearly impossible to get any work done or even stay connected with loved ones. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The room size was very small, with the bed and one luggage, there was no more room for two people to stand in the room

We got a room on the 9th floor and the view from the window was great. Also, the location was also superb since there were many options for a late night snack around Clarke quay

Great convenient location and had a 711 and supermarket right across the road which was very handy for supplies. We had nice river views from our room.

The air con was so cold, but the remote was broken. The tv only had 6 channels. Dont hv extra glasses.

The bed was super uncomfortable. The bathroom is very small and the shower was awkward. There was always a line at the check-in counter.

Location is fantastic! You can walk along the river to nearly anywhere. There are 2 coffee shops (including Starbucks) and a 7-eleven a block away. I had a nice view from my room.
