  • Radisson Hotel Panama Canal Review score: 9

“It was comfortable for a short (one night) stay. There is a TGI in the building as well as a good restaurant.”

  • “The room was barren very stale looking and I woke up in the middle of the night been bit my something all over my arms . The soap dispensers in shower were empty”

  • Casa Areka Review score: 9

“Really nice staff. Helpful and all. Location is kind of annoying but that's a lot of hostels in this specific city. The breakfast is self made pancakes. The place is very clean. Free pool table. You're not allowed to bring beer and there it cost 2 dollars which is twice the normal price and I think it's not cool but I guess most hostels are like this so... Really close to a supermarket. A little shortage of bathrooms.”

  • “Great Location and very beautiful Hotel with everything you need. Staff some very nice.”

  • “Love this place!”

  • “This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The story behind it, the attention to detail, the stuff, the amenities, the food everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment you step in the hotel, it's like stepping into a piece of art. Everything was meticulously chosen and no little detail feels random. The hotel has only 88 rooms divided into 3 wings: The American, The Spanish and The French. We stayed in the American wing with a beautiful design throughout it emphasizing the building of the Panama Canal though beautiful vintage pictures and memorabilia. The room was very comfortable, with 2 double beds and a little balcony overlooking the side street. The bathroom was very well sized and providing toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. We had complimentary beverages in the fridge and the cleaning crew was excellent insuring every day, we had cleaned bed sheets and towels. We also had breakfast indulged and it was incredible. A fine selection of foods, cheeses, charcuterie, fruits, toasts, cereals etc and amazing coffee selections. The hotel has 5 restaurants and they are well quite good, as well. The roof top pool and lounge is a must in the very hot and humid Panamanian days with a nice bar where you cab get refreshments and snacks. All in all this hotel is a MUST STAY when visiting Panama City right in the heart of Casco Viejo, the city built in the 1600's where old and new are blending in beautifully.”
