We were charged for parking RM15. Even though it’s flat rate but it’s supposed to be free because we stay there Small swimming pool Unable to access the terrace at night as only one entrance at the pool which was closed after 7pm

We walked to and back from the Chinatown area at night. Hardly met anyone and there were no threats. However we chose not to repeat this exercise at night. It was dark and involved passing under flyovers and round the railway station.

Breakfast wasoutstanding with three distinct stations - eastern, western and a mix. Room was very spacious as we were upgraded to a suite. Bathroom was more than adequate with a very good shower. Views were also excellent. There is a natural colonial charm. The piano bar exemplified this. It was well located and on the relative doorstep of the National Mosque, Chinatown and the Central Market. We also walked to Merdeka Square. Hotel organised very reasonably priced Grab taxis.

Breakfast is very normal.

The room is very spacious, and I love the bathtub. It fills up quickly and comes with bath salts. I can even watch TV in the bathroom while soaking in the tub. The bed is huge and comfortable, and the WiFi is very fast. The staff is very friendly. When our room wasn't ready at check-in, we waited for 30 minutes, and they offered us a late check-out by an hour, which made for a great customer experience.

The washroom is big but the door is pretty heavy and not convenient to use. Plus, the door is made of clear glass, so a curtain is used to cover it. I'd prefer the usual washroom door setting. The water is provided in reusable glass bottles, understood that it's more eco-friendly, yet as a traveler, normal bottled water is much preferred as it can be taken around.

The receptionists are very kind and friendly. We were looking for specific goods and they helped us find the shop. Excellent service. The room is spacious and has a great view.

Corridor carpets smell musty

As always this hotel is one of the very best I have stayed in. I have visited 67 countries and the Majestic is certainly up there with the best. The staff so courteous and well trained. Thanks for a wonderful 5 nights

Expensive buffet/breakfast but expected for the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and in a great location. Right next to the national mosque of Malaysia which was perfect during Ramadan. The staff were superb as most people in Malaysia. Service was great. The twin room was really nice. Really clean. The bathroom was amazing, defo a highlight. Rooms were cleaned daily which is great. The pool and gym area was basic nothing amazing but I wasnt really fussed. Still worth the money. Buffet was nice but on the expensive side. Same for suhoor breakfast, didn’t think it was amazing but still all good. Great location to get to places!

My only complain is that water leaked from the toilet area to the dry area but that was a small issue. I also didn't really like the smell of the body lotion. There were no electric sockets of USB's near the bedside to charge your phone. And you cannot control the lights from your bedside.

The room was HUGE. It was very nively decorated. The bed ws sturdy and the pillows extremely soft. The TV had excellent receptiion. The bathroom was nice. The bathroom had a huge bathtub with a TV in front! The AC in the room was also great with it being very cold making it nice to sleep. The breakfast was also amazing with a wide variety of choices. Highly recommended. The porters were extermely helpful in helping me with the luggage and opening the main doors for me. All the staff here were also extremely polite by greeting us with a smile and "Good Morning".

I did not put 10 because the pool side could have been better (not as majestic as on the pic), and there was no shower in gym area.

Arriving early in the morning we got an offer to get upgraded to a huge suite immediately available + breakfast for a reasonable price (after short negotiation). The room was huge, very comfy, walking distance from Merdaka place and the National mosquee, the service was top-notch.
