When checking out we were asked to wait while our room was checked "to see if we left anything behind", although we assumed it likely was because they may have a theft problem - the room has really pretty dishware, silk robes, slippers, etc. which possibly people steal? It took almost 15 minutes, which was a mild annoyance but we get it - if people steal the nice items, then they will not be able to stock rooms with nice things.

Hotel is even more beautiful than it looks in photos. Gracious Ray checked us in, as LuLu brought us a welcome drink of fresh juice. Our room faced back parking lot (free for guests, very convenient to find on map) which was very quiet, although even the street-facing rooms would be quiet since hotel is on the outer ring of the Jonker Walk district, and the street was very quiet by dark. Location could not be better - fabulous to be right in the district, able to go back and forth during the very hot day to cool off and refresh in air-conditioned room. Quality toiletries and towels, in-room frig stocked with complimentary drinks and juices. Coffee and tea in room. Mattress was high quality, very comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet including fresh fruit and juices, also menu to order additional hot dishes - a mix of local, Indian, and Western choices. Espresso machine for good coffee drinks. Cafe open until 3pm serving small selection of appetizers, including yummy chicken satay. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Price keeps out lesser mortals. So a pleasant stay.

OK breakfast but so nice to spend time in the instagramable hotel atrium. Truly very beautiful. coffee and service great I found a MYR100 note on the floor near the main entrance. Hotel has great security cameras and hard working and thoughtful staff. I was confident that the reception would take the time to review the video footage to find the owner of the 100 MYR note. Even check out was pleasantl. A slight delay - but a thoughtful departing gift from Roy.

Everything was perfect for a short holiday. Superb location, being just next to Jonker street with private parking. Room was clean, and lobby was nicely decorated in oriental design. Other than that, all staffs we met were friendly.

Everything I like! Hospitality thumbs up since we arrived until left the hotel. Staff IKRAM, LULU, and Pak ASRI went out until the car left. They even helped to book a car to bus terminal. Property is amazing. Classic style, clean, bright, and worth its price. Location close to Masjid Kling (easy for muslims for pray) and two temples. Walking disantance to Jonker Street too. Highly recommended!

There is a mosque located close behind the hotel so it was noisy at times throughout the night (even 2am). I was staying during Ramadan however so this may not be typical.

The room was sizeable and really comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful when we had questions. Location is great, right next to Jonker street.

Beautiful hotel located in the center of Malacca which makes it very convenient to visit the city. Rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Hotel is very nicely decorated, a bit of stylish British block and white style. Staff very friendly.
