How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only little complaint was that it was not as close to the train station as I had hoped. But it was only a couple of blocks away.
We loved the staff. Yang Xiao Ying went out of her way to find us an Okinomiyaki restaurant. She had a hard time because it was a Sunday and many were closed. She found us a restaurant, printed us a map, and a restaurant flyer so we could make our way there without any effort. The restaurant was delicious and our last night in Japan was very memorable. The other staff members were also very nice and kind. What was cool was that you could see the laundry status from your TV screen. Whether it was available and the how much time was left in your clothes. The room was a good size forJapan also.

The location was great for us, near by everything you need. Room was comfortable and staff were kind. Didn't use the onsen but I'm sure it was great.

A little small if you have lots of luggage but you will manage.
Great location!!, comfy and clean. Bathroom is lovely. 7/11 & Family marts, all just round the corner. Restaurants nearby also. Daimon station is a two min walk. Perfect for metro. Area is not too crowded and overwhelming but perfect for travelling wherever. Very convenient. Also a ten min walk from the Tokyo Tower 🗼.

Not super close to the major shopping areas e.g. Shinjuku and Shibuya, but that's fine :)
Clean lobby and room, spacious room (by average Tokyo standards), great convenient location for guests arriving via Haneda Airport. Lots of food options nearby and a great view of Tokyo Tower! And Starbucks right downstairs.

Love the part they prepared bath salt as part of the amenities. The location is pretty strategic, surrounded by lots of restaurants that operates till midnight. Walking distance to the temple and Tokyo tower.

1. The room is a little bit small for opening a big suitcase although this is common for most of the business hotels in Japan.
1. The hotel is near Shiba Daimon, Zojo-ji, and Tokyo Tower. Easy for accessing those sightseeing spots. 2. There is Starbucks under the hotel building, and there are lots of dining places around it.

Staff are amazingly kind, the room was good and the bed so comfortable ! Very well located in Daimon / Hamamatsucho station - very convenient to travel around tokyo - and few steps away from the Tokyo Tower !

The room was a little small, but considering it was in Tokyo, it wasn't bad. The refrigerator occasionally made noises.
I liked the location and hotel management. There is also an air purifier in the room.

Modern building with good sized rooms. In a lovely area away from the bustle of the main tourist areas, but easily accessible via subway. Had lovely parks and some great restaurants. Would 100% stay here again

If you book a room (including breakfast), they hotel will give you Starbucks gift cards. If you're looking to eat/ try Japanese food, it may be best to just book the room, and have breakfast elsewhere.
The location is absolutely fantastic, there are so many cafés and restaurants nearby, and the Tokyo Tower is right down the street. It was also very convenient to get from the hotel to Narita Airport. The amenities stand in the lobby had a lovely selection. We also used the washing machine, which you can see if it's in use on the TV in your room.

My room was perfect for a single traveler…. Might have been a bit tight with two people. But there are likely other room layouts to consider when traveling with others.
Very convenient to 2 major train stations. While I wouldn’t classify this hotel as luxury, it is very well maintained with everything one might need for an enjoyable short stay in Tokyo. At check-in I was even presented with a Starbucks gift card, which came in handy at the Starbucks on the ground floor!

No breakfast available in the hotel but a rewards card for Starbucks was provided which was fine unless you want the full Japanese experience.
Excellent location, close to Tokyo tower and great connections to the Tokyo Metro network.

The only disadvantage I would say was that the breakfast was provided via a voucher at Starbucks. I don’t think they have a restaurant, so I understand that this was their only solution. All in all, not a big disadvantage.
I like the most the fact that we were close to Tokyo Tower and other attractions from our list. The metro station was accessible which was very useful for us.

Even by Japan standards, the beds and pillows were very firm.
We stayed only one night on our way to Kanazawa from Haneda airport, but liked that it was only 20 minutes on the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda airport and a short walk from Hamamatsucho Station. It is also extremely close to Zojo-ji Temple and the Tokyo Tower.
