The location is perfect, so close to Piazza Brá and the Roman auditorium. We could hear the opera singers! It is small, quiet hotel next to the fabulous Restaurant Torcolo whuch serves food on Versace china! The staff are wonderful too. Perfect place to stay.

I’ve been to Verona before, the hotels are more expensive than ever before, Hotel Torcolo is no exception. But it’s a bit cheaper than others, at least.

Location, location, location. Right in the middle of everything. You can even hear the music from the arena - so you don’t need a ticket for a concert ;) The rooms are very basic, but spotless clean. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants are all around the corner. WiFi is free and most of the time it works well.

Centrally located, in a street just off Piazza Bra. Walking distance to all the main sites in Verona. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

Would have liked tea making facilities in room, but staff were very accommodating in making (payable) drinks.

There was some street noise early in the mornings and late at night, but this can't be helped in such a central location and an old building.

All the staff were lovely and happy to help with any requests, the location is just moments from the arena piazza, and the vibe was authentic and charming. We had a great time and you couldn't ask for better for the price.

Breakfast was ok, often with fresh fruit and cakes, on one day the choice was limited.

Very nice staff at the reception, in the breakfast room and for the cleaning. We really felt welcome here! Good advice on visiting the city. Nice room. Nice hotel in the city center, everything was within short walk. We could borrow umbrellas.

Expensive compared to what one gets. Sink stopper would not open and sink became almost unusable (filled with water which would not drain away). Issue was not solved despite having been notified and acknowledged. Room was small and not well soundproofed.

Location very near the Arena. Possibility to come back any time at night. Safe in the room. Shower was working.

It is poky but so central

Cluttered poky place very central. Coped with parking very well. Reasonable breakfast and nicely made omlette. Reception very kind, good advice about dining, trips, tourist venues. R&J balcony rubbish but wonderful river, castello and truly excellent museum in the the Castello Vecchio

The walls were thin

This central hotel is easy accessible when you are on Verona. A sweet and small reception was very welcoming.

My partner found the bed a bit too firm for him but I had a great night's sleep, it was bigger than my kingsize bed at home. Tea and coffee in the room would've been nice as we didn't book in for breakfast but there are no shortage of cafes on your doorstep.

The location couldn't have been better, you can walk everywhere really easily and even reach the funicular across the river within 15 mins. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, we had our room upgraded and were offered use of the bar and toilet facilities after we'd checked out until our flight. The room was quaint but clean and overlooked the front of the hotel, but quiet and peaceful as it's tucked behind the main Piazza. The mini bar and free toiletries were appreciated! Will definitely visit again if in Verona and have already recommended it to many people.
