We had a great time at Suite Sofia. Close to train station. Ideally located in the old part of town. Very quiet and comfortable bed, very clean. Our host kept in touch about all things to make our stay memorable. Great shower.

Situated within the walled city the gorgeously renovated Suite Sofia is in a fantastic location just minutes from the station so not far if hauling heavy suitcases. With a corner view we were pleasantly surprised to find this well-equipped accommodation had a separate bedroom and was hosted by Massimiliano who provided us with lots of tips on places to eat for lunch and dinner...which we did visit. He was the most accommodating host and was contactable if we had any questions. I can honestly say that it was by far the best accommodation we stayed in during our whistle stop tour of Tuscany.

The location is excellent, right in town with bars, cafes and restaurants close by, it's at the end of one of the main streets so a close walk to most things. The apartment is spacious and the bed comfortable. Self check in was easy and although a lively area the place was quiet. The host is friendly and offers good recommendations. I enjoyed staying here and would happily again!

We really loved this studio apartment, in an attractive historical building, with a gorgeous wooden beamed ceiling, well equipped kitchen, nice stylish interior, and it was also nice to find some coffee and little breakfast toasts and jam that had been left for us. The apartment is right within the city walls. It is just a short distance from the train station, and so central you can walk everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay there. Super, friendly communication with the host Massimiliano, who was in constant contact if we needed, he recommended an amazing pizza place a few minutes away by foot, 'Da Umberto' it was great. Thank you Massimiliano for your kind ways! Hope we will be back! Lucca is perfect! Naty & Kevin ;-)

Just a little reminder folks should know: stairs to the first floor apartment, small step in the bathroom with a small shower area. Nothing terrible but could be a problem if you have elderly people or someone with mobility problems.

Love it but the Amazing location made our visit to Lucca even better. Short walk from the train station.

The shower is tiny - but it is shown on the pictures and other travellers have mentioned before. For us it wasnt a problem, but for taller/bigger people could be.

The host contacted me on Whatsup and sent the details in message. Also got some recommendations about good restaurants - what I really appriciate! The studio is at a very good location, I definetely recommend for everbody who visits Lucca!

A very small thing but the bathroom, on a whole was lovely, very clean and lovely towels (plenty of them too) it was a little cramped in the shower and wash basin area but I know from experience this is quite typical. It was fine, but the shower leaves very little room. However - the rest of the apartment makes up for it!

A great apartment right in the heart of Lucca! close by to all the local stores and pasticerria's. The apartment was comfy and cosy with all the little extras. The host even messaged me on the day to make sure I found the apartment and there wasn't any issues - very thoughful. The keypad/entry and key collection was all very simple and works so well. Must prefer than arranging times to meet someone. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were very expensive!

Perfect location in the outer center of the city, everything within easy reach (restaurants, train station, bus). Due to the location on the first floor at a busy intersection, with the windows open you become a part of the city, which I don't consider a fault, but rather a characteristic of the accommodation.

Everything was perfect! :) The suite sofia is a charming apartment in a lovely city! :) The location is perfect! Everything can be reached within walking distance. The property is clean and well equiped. The owner is very kind and absolutely helpful before and during the stay! Massimiliano was always ready to help us! We also got a lot of information about the apartment and the location prior to arrival. It was absolutely easy to follow. There are also very good restaurants, coffees and even an amazing bike rental company (chrono bike) close to the property! We are grateful for having a wonderful time at Lucca! :)

Chatter from restaurants on one side of property continued until 11 PM and locals met on the bench below bedroom window to chat each night! If you are a light sleeper, you need to shut windows to shut out the sound.

Suite Sofia is a cozy one bedroom apartment located within the walls and primarily pedestrian city of Lucca. It was a 10/15 minute walk from both the train station & bus terminal. Location was fantastic at corner of Corso Garibaldi and Via S. Girolamo- cappuccino and croissants down Via Garibaldi, gelato shop across the street, multitude of small cafes within view from the windows, PAM market 3 blocks away, access to the ramparts/ walls for walking around the outside of the city 2 blocks away. Lucca is a fascinating maze of labyrinthine streets with homes, shops, cathedrals, amphitheatre, piazzas. We loved sitting at the dining table looking out the windows at the activity in the streets. Massimiliano was very helpful.

We knew it was first floor with no lift - it is described in the information. Next time we will only bring light luggage! Not a problem for us!

Amazing location- apartment was compact but not cramped. The hosts were so helpful with directions and so many ideas for places to eat. Mayla and Massimiliano communicated swiftly to any questions we had. We would highly recommend the apartment and will tell our friends!!

Cute little apartment in a very central location. The little details made us feel at home! Next to a bike shop which was great! Owner provided us with info on where to get the best sandwiches and gelato and was very responsive and made our stay awesome. Would 100% recommend this place & and would 100% book again whem in Lucca!

It was the most lovely nest in a quiet area in Lucca, really close to the center and near an interesting flee market. It's 20' away by walking from the railway station. We really liked this stay, it was by far the best accomodation we had in Tuscany.
