How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Honestly the breakfast could be better but it did not take away from the charm of the hotel at all.
The hotel was on a beautiful street with many wonderful businesses. The staff was amazing. They recommended restaurants and made reservations for us. It was in walking distance to the colosseum, the wedding cake, the Roman forum and the train station for the metro and transportation out of Rome.

There was not any space to put your personal stuffs like shampoo,…etc in bathroom wjile having a shower The water is coming from the faucet is not strong whereas it is good in the shower.

The shower could be more powerful, or just change the head to a smaller one as the large one didn’t release enough pressure.
Great location near the Metro not far to travel with luggage, close enough to walk into the city centre.

Nothing bad to report at all! The lift is small and incredibly slow, if you're in a rush, but that's it!
Perfect small hotel in a great location. The breakfast up on the terrace was really lovely, lots of meats, cheese, pastries and fruit plus more. Good coffee! Really lovely staff throughout, very helpful. The room was a decent size, slightly small bathroom but genuinely not an issue. We had a small balcony which was nice and a fridge which was great for snacks. Plenty of hanging space for the 4 nights we were there - if longer, you'd need more. We didn't use the minibar service but the prices were good.

Amazing location in Rome, central to all major landmarks. The Colosseum is right around the corner. Monti is a great area for food and drink The hotel is very clean and modern

Would of been a 10/10 but our room was right by where breakfast is served. So being woken up at 6am by clunking china and chit chat wasn't great. But luckily both myself and partner travel prepared with ear plugs so for us it wasn't a problem after the initial morning. The lift is very small and slow if you don't want want to walk up the stairs.
Fantastic Location, surrounded by amazing Restaurants and Bars. Short walk from the Colesseum, Trevi Fountain and the Metro. The staff were really helpful. Drinks via room service are really reasonably priced

It was a little hard to find. Once found was perfect n great location.
The room was clean and nice. Very close to the metro and in an area with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. And the beds were super comfy.

We struggled with the temp setting for the amazing shower. Great shower but at times scalding and at times cold, every time we had to try to set the temperature for use. We didn't feel this was spoiling our holiday. Bathroom was amazing.
Loved the location. Very central to Rome, so close to the Metro stop and easy walking distance to fab food and nightlife. Felt very safe and the room was very well looked after by the cleaning staff throughout our stay. Reception staff were helpful and responsive to queries.

First of all we all want to thanks for the staff they were brilliant. The room was more than spotless clean, just like on the pictures. And the location of the hotel is amazing, everything is so close.

Hotel is 5 mins walk from Colosseo, don't believe Google maps ;) The room was clean, comfy, heater and AC work perfectly, which is important in January. Wi-fi was fast. Cleaning every day, change of towels accordingly. Kettle+ mini bar helped us a lot, specially, if you're staying with a child

During our stay there was no WiFi, however this problem was on the whole area and not just in the room or the hotel. Also, our room was next to the stairs and we heard every noise (steps or suitcases) from the stairs. We would prefer the room
Great location, close to metro station and to most of the top places worth visiting. Personnel was very polite, friendly and helpful. Room was not very spacious but this was overcome from the cleaniness, good decoration and the fact that the room had always warm water for bath and was warm even though we did not turn the heating on.

Great location, apartment is located near Termini station (10min walk) in adorable little street. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything was really great. Room was ready before expected chek-in.

The area is the best in Rome by far: Friendly locals, clean and great for breakfast, lunch, aperitivo and dinner. The building is fun - fancy and well taken care of- the reception is on the first floor and there are 3 more floors with the roof eating area. What I especially appreciated was the quiet, comfortable room with a heater you can turn on and off and a newly refurbished bathroom.

It can't get any better. But to say the least, the elevator could have been a little faster.
The room was much larger and more spacious than I expected. We felt very comfortable as a family. Bathrooms, toilets and showers were excellent.

The breakfast room was next to my room, which was OK apart from the breakfast lady on her phone on loud speaker which woke us up early every morning
Great location to sights of interest, lots of lovely bars/ eateries and shops. Had what you needed for a base
