Not any complaints. I would say the breakfast was very good but not as great as others I have had throughout Italy.

The staff was excellent and friendly, accommodating last minute requests. The dinner was the best meal of the trip. Pici, a local pasta with pecorino cheese and shaved truffles, and the BEST sautéed spinach of my entire life! (I enjoy a lot of spinach at home and while traveling!) Also, the view from the dining tables was spectacular!

It does not have old own parking, so you have to look for a city parking place what is quiete a problem - but this problem have all the accomodations in the centre of Pienza

Beautiful historical building in the old city center with view of the country of Tuscany- make sure to book the “ exclusive”" room with the garden view, very good breakfast

Rooms a bit gloomy due to monastic architecture if not facing the valley. Breakfast inside is not ideal if not sunny. Overall breakfast set up is a bit shambolic. Quality is fine. Front desk service not brilliant.

Fantastic location. Beautiful setting. Comes into its own when sun is out. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Breakfast outside is sublime. If you book, get a room that faces the valley.

This charming hotel is in a former cloister. The setting is absolutely stunning - we ate an excellent dinner on the terrace and watched a glorious slow sunset. Breakfast in the morning was very good with a good selection. The room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected and the bathroom was nicely modern. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pool was filled like to its half, could be cleaner too. Insufficient size if the hotel is fully occupied, fine rather for a dip. However, we werent here for the pool, it was just a nice addition, so no bad feelings about it.

Good breakfast with a great great view, I recommend the restaurant connected to the hotel in the evening. Charming place in great location in the very center of Pienza, with its own vibes, room was nice with a nice view, there is an elevator, comfortable beds and nice staff.

The hotel could do a lot more to make use of the wonderful monastery building, but they only have some chairs and small tables set up inside...quite a miss I think. Parking is quite a nightmare, no service to carry guests and bags from the gravel open parking 500m away. Upon arrival, we were notified that the pool doesn't work - only upon arrival, no sooner. This was a bummer, as part of the plan was to do sihghtseeing and then relax by the pool. We could use the sun loungers and umbrellas, and there was a shower....not exactly 4*. Also surprising, albeit we might have too high expectations, but for a 4* it was suprising we could not get service by the pool, nor any proper glasses. To order, one had to walk up the stairs, throught he restaurant (which was being set up for dinner), and order at the reception, then were given our drink and the most basic plastic cups - disappointing. Second day arrives, breakfast is so so, but now the entire pool area is closed down (to the disbelief of many other guests besides us), and the news are that it is unlikely it will be fixed - again, without any words of comfort, or anything offered in compensation. Long story short, we asked to cancel for the second night, and also managed to receive a 10% discount for the first night, and left.

The location and the hotel itself is nice, a former monastery, it carries a lot of (missed) opportunities. The rooms are spacious and clean. The terrace and the pool area have a lot of potential, but I think is not used to its potential. The cancellation and discount for our complaints (see below) were managed smoothly.

Beautiful property with incredible views from the terrace. Staff were super helpful and made our stay super enjoyable and special for a special occasion. Room was lovely and very comfortable.
