It was a little tricky to find the hotel initially and also to navigate which side of the piazza to head towards, but once located it turned out to be a really great location. It would have been nice to speak with the staff directly, as communicating via messages meant having to wait for internet connection and also for the messages to go through/be read. However the communication that was there was very helpful and positive.

The venue itself was really nice; kept clean and with breakfast items well-stocked. The staff were really nice and helpful, although not always available to speak with directly, but were very good via messaging. The location was great - on a central metro line leading to the majority of main sites, but also just out of the way enough to not feel overcrowded by swarms of tourists - perfect for us.

some minor things: you can hear other people having/preparing their breakfast talking loudly, doors squeak, main lighting was white (cold), we used only bedside lamps with warm light, that made room more cozy. Would be nice to have cozier deco, but plants are very nice touch already!

Excellent location - 1hr from the airport by metro, metro access is right there in front of the property, will take you anywhere in Rome. We also walked to main sights by foot. Pizza, späti, drogerie, mcdonalds, cute cafes, beer bars are all near by, as well as park. The host Stefania and her family are very helpful and welcoming and quick to reply. Freshly squeezed orange juice in the mornings, having breakfast on the sunny rooftop, jacuzzi, comfortable beds, loved plants in the rooms!

Great communication with the owner and her family. I received information throughout the day and the owner responded immediately to my messages through the app. Accommodation nice, nice view of the small square. Breakfast was buffet style in the kitchen next door. Bread, tea, coffee, ham, cheese etc. The accommodation is not immediately next to a metro station, which is great! From termini about 4 stops. Can be a little noisy with police cars and ambulances going past.

Great selection of meats, cheese, croissants etc for breakfast. Loved relaxing and looking at the view from the large balcony. There are also a number of restaurants very close by. The hosts were lovely too!

Some noises during the early morning (5-6 am) coming from the kitchen which does not have a door. Bed mattress had a soft spot where my back would fall in.

It was very cozy and clean. Close to the subway and bus. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Also the balcony view is amazing.

Our room was quiet clean, spacious and bright. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient enough with delicious and fresh pastry, juice, coffee and more. We enjoyed the beautiful terrace and the view. Location is just amazing, only a few steps away from A metro line and bus stops. And Stefania was so helpful and kind. Overall, we are very pleased to stay Re di Roma Rooftop.

I am so so pleased that we booked to stay at Re di Roma Rooftop! Such brilliant value for a superb experience. It is very rare to find a hotel in Rome with a bath in the room, and this had a beautiful jet hot tub. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious - pastries, fruit, coffee, fresh juice. There was air conditioning which was very welcome on a hot weekend in Rome, and the hotel was very nearby to a metro station so that we could get around the city easily. Finally, the hotel manager was delightful - helping us with taxi reservation, quick on communication, and great recommendations for holiday activities. Thank you Stefania, we hope to be back!

A few things should be attended to. The most important thing relates to safety. The blinds were not secured and kept slamming opened and closed. The only way to re-open them was to stand on the side of jacuzzi and open the window which, nevertheless did not have a security grill. God forbid anyone would fall - they would die. In my humble opinion, this must be attended to as a matter of urgency. Other things are less urgent but would make a guest's stay more welcome. No towel hanger/ rack/ bar in the bathroom- very uncomfortable. Little room for suitcases and to hang clothes.

The room was clean and bright. The hosts were very approachable, flexible and welcoming. I have some food intolerances and the host was very kind to cater for my needs. We did not manage to enjoy the rooftop as it was far too hot, but the view is lovely. The location is superb.
