It’s not a problem if you want to be away from the tourist insanity, but it’s at least a 20-25 min walk to St Mark’s Plaza. It’s only a minor inconvenience, not enough to deter.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The building had historical charm. The location right on the Rio was great.

Stunning hotel with a very kind and attentive employees. The hotel is located in rather less touristy and more local area. Very close to really nice restaurants where we met many locals. Breakfast selection is great as well.

This is a wonderful hotel which makes ideal use of its former palace location with fascinating architectural and artistic features. The staff were particularly friendly and kind. Breakfast was a treat in itself but came with added treats - which at Easter included Easter cake and mini eggs. The location on the relatively central but also relatively quiet Cannaregio canal (at a water bus stop) was ideal.

Everything about our stay was excellent. our room was superb with a fantastic view, the breakfasts were perfect and it was easy to eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening whenever we wished and the evening meals were also high quality in a calm, peaceful restaurant. All of the staff members were impeccably polite, friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed use of the gym. We enjoyed the fact that the location of the hotel is slightly away from the busy centre of Venice. It was straightforward to get around by Vaporetto with a stop directly in front of the hotel.

No outside space. It would have been wonderful to have somewhere to sit enjoy the sunshine before heading out again into the chaos.

The property is perfectly located. Easy to access the hustle and bustle of Venice but you are not right in the middle of it. You had some space! It is so easy off the water taxi and the place even has a wonderful smell as you walk through the door. It feels like an oasis

The staff exceeded expectations by providing recommendations to restaurants and assisting us greatly with taxis and our luggage. I would definately recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a bit far was about a 30 mins walk to reach the center but was nice walking, and the ceiling of the room was little confusing high and open made us feels that we are sharing the room with our neighbors but it wasn’t.

We loved everything about this hotel especially it's location, its so close to the Vaporetto, but just outside the main hustle and bustle of Venice, with lovely restaurant's close by. The quality of the hotel, its rooms and general areas are exceptional, and the staff were amazing and attentive throughout our stay.

Stayed only for one night but really liked the hotel. Very beautiful, extremely conveniently located (only a short walk from the train station) and not far from all the touristic places. Staff was great and helpful so we were very pleased with the stay!
