We were only here for one night as we unexpectedly extended our stay in Florence by a day due to a rail strike, but would gladly have stayed longer. The very best feature is an elevator! We have been schlepping our suitcases up and down stairs for a couple of weeks now so it was a real treat. Especially since our room was on the 3rd floor. Great location just a couple of blocks from the train station. The block of Via Faenza that it is on is quiet but the next couple of blocks down are filled with restaurants. The room is quiet and comfortable with plenty of space. There isn’t a breakfast served but there are packaged pastries, cereal, milk, yogurt, coffee, and tea in the room.

2 years ago when I visited Florence I choose this place too. At that time they had a very hearty breakfast with fresh coffee, cold cuts, cheese, fresh bakery products and fruits etc. This time they just put some packaged food into the room every day. I missed the nice breakfast and its athmosphere very much this time.

This Locanda is run by a family. They are kind and caring, lookong out to help whenever you need it. The place is centrally located, touristic parts of the city can be reached by walking. I highly recommend whether you go for business or with family.

The small elevator and the dark steps made getting to our top floor room a little challenging, especially after dark. 10am checkout.

Excellent location - right next to the old town, restaurants, market, shops, public transport, train station, but in a quiet street. Very kind and accommodating host. It was very nice to be able to have a small breakfast - cereals, yoghurt, croissants. It was very nice! There is a fridge, drinking water, coffee and tea. Everything you need to relax quietly and undisturbed after a day's work. Definitely recommended for those who want a quiet and undisturbed holiday in Florence!

Liked everything.

The location, which was very close to the train station was great. Easy walk to the Duomo. The restaurants on either side of the entry were both wonderful. We would gladly stay again. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

This hotel is very close to the Florence Train Station (less than 5 minute walk) so it is super accessible. It is on a nice quiet street and the host is very friendly and accommodating (including letting us drop our bags off at 11am). The suites themselves are spacious and the internet is super fast. The A/C also works well and the bathroom is a decent size.

I honestly cannot fault anything. The road was being paved while we stayed there, but that will only contribute to the neighborhood once completed.

The location was perfect, an easy 5 minute walk to the station, the food and leather market and surrounded by lovely little restaurants. We were able to walk to all the main attractions. Andrea was very attentive and made us feel welcome at breakfast every morning. Breakfast is service in a small area, but were lovely. Beautifully prepared and displayed on a small buffet. The rooms was cleaned daily and was spacious and very comfortable. Despite being in a lively neighborhood, once we closed the windows and put the aircon on, we were able to sleep peacefully. Room was fitted with a large tv and and small bar fridge. The small elevator was perfect for luggage. Clear instructions were given for after hours check-in.

Beautiful room everything you needed was in room, breakfast was included and very good. All staff and owners were very friendly and made you feel very comfortable. Road outside building was being replaced with all new cement blocks which will be beautiful but didn’t cause a problem, some guest complained about it we didn’t see it as a deterrent. Would definitely recommend this property.

The shower head needs a new washer to stop leaking and spraying in wrong direction. Not a real problem, but a bitt annoying and the only thing that was not up to standards

Close to historic center and very close to tram T2 Airport. Lively neighborhood. The room was away from street and very quiet. Friendly personnel.

The hair dryer wouldn’t run long enough to be functional because it would shut off when it got hot. It would only work a few seconds at a time and shut off. We were told by a lady in the office that was intended to keep us safe. Made it sound like it was only us dumb Americans that were complaining. She did give me a real hair dryer to use and it worked well. So maybe they should upgrade? We stayed in other Italy accommodations that did not have this problem. Fortunately, this is my only real negative and it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. The bed and pillows were a little hard for me, but we did sleep just fine. I do wish they would have on hand washcloths for American travelers.

It was clean, safe, attractive, and a perfect location near the train station. Our room was lovely. The staff was friendly. The breakfast staff was very attentive and there was a nice selection for breakfast. The shower had multiple sprayer options which was kind of fun. Our room had a surprise well beneath a glass floor which added interest.

All was good, but Florence is an expensive city to visit.

Centrally located hotel in Florence. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. We loved that there were many full sized and puffy pillows. The air conditioning worked great, too!
