Great location. The staff was incredibly helpful with us. The room actually exceeded our expectations and looked better than in the pictures. The windows were nearly soundproof, we could sleep decently despite loud live music right across the street.

The shower was extremely small. I am slim, and still found it difficult to shower in. Could do with an extra sink as we were three people. And space wise, the second room was quite small. Would be good if the hotel offered us an iron.

-After being given a remote to control the Air Conditioning in my room, I discovered that it did not work. The gentleman on reception explained that this was because A/C was set to ‘winter mode’ and therefore could not be used. Being from Scotland where I am user to cool temperatures, my room was uncomfortably hot as the daytime temperatures were 23-24 degrees. The hotel should not advertise that rooms have A/C if guests cannot use it! -There are a few small touches missing that I would expect in a hotel at this price point: shampoo is provided, but not conditioner; tea bags are provided with the kettle, but not coffee. -As other reviews have noted, the street that the hotel is on is very loud until the early hours of the morning. While not the hotel’s fault, greater soundproofing measures are needed.

-The hotel is excellently located. Right in the center of Vucciria’s nightlife and only a couple of minutes walk from Corso Vittorio Emanuele where a huge range of bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel is also easy to reach using the airport bus, with the stop on Via Roma being only about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. -The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional throughout my stay. -The hotel’s breakfast offers a good range of food and drinks in a continental style. The croissants were particularly good. -My room was spacious and had 3 balconies - 2 smaller balconies and one large one with a table and chairs. It was nice to sit on the larger balcony in the evening and listen to the live music on the street below. The room itself was amply spacious with good storage space and a separate hallway area with a luggage rack.

It is very noisy during midnight because the restaurants and music outside the streets. This affects the sleep. The hotel should make better noisy isolation

Unfortunately there's a heavy night life street right in front to the hotel. It goes 3am on even on sunday. The window makes an ok job to shield it, but if you're sensitive it's simply not enough. We needed earplugs on the second day.
