This was a very last minute booking after our original hotel (Mercure) expected us to surrender our car keys in order to use their private parking which we did not feel comfortable doing. Especially as we had a rental car. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and was DEFINITELY the right choice to switch. The parking is secure and right next to the hotel so was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They seemed to switch shifts often so got to meet a good few of them over the 24 hrs we stayed. The suite we had a wonderful. So much space for just 2 of us. Incredibly clean, well organised room (even the smaller details of plug sockets and tables in all the right places). A good bathroom with an excellent shower. We also appreciated the Salvatore Ferrgano toileries. Breakfast could be improved but lots of options and attentive staff. A lovely short stroll to the main piazza and sights/shopping and on a quiet street so no issues there either.

Room was small and the balcony (one chair) was only for 1 and there was 2 of us!! Wardrobe/storage was a poorly designed structure NOT boutique hotel! Quality of toiletries was poor

Great location 5 min from P.Maggiore 2 min from super Market. Excellent breakfast(best croissant ever),including any coffee of your preference. Nice view from rooftop. Helpful stuff.

The shower was new and I'm guessing we were the first to use it. It did not drain at first. I had to fix it so it would drain. Just poor design. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.

Breakfast was ample and fresh. We received a room upgrade to one of the new suites. The staff were very helpful and nice. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked to perfection.

It is advisable to invest in sockets with 2 usb ports for phone charging. Having only one socket in a double room sets limits.

The view from the terrace is amazing, excellent location in the heart of the city, cleanliness, comfy bed, helpful staff.

Room was great.. staff were very friendly and helpfull.. on site secure parking was a real plus point.. Very nice restaurants close by and just a short walk to centre.. Breakfast was exceptional- everything you could want and more... Roof terrace was also great with views over the city..

We were in a room on the 1st floor. I booked with the expectation of having a view, but the room was very plain and across the street from the hotel.

The location was excellent. Also the rooftop sitting area was great. Room was clean, breakfast was good and so was the staff.

Location was a bit away from center The hotel uses regular keys you have to return at reception everytime you go out. The size of TV is very small. The size of a double room is very small for value

Pleasant hotel not too far from the city center with friendly staff. They were modernizing the hotel but I staid in the part which was not renovated yet but this was not really an issue as the rooms were still technically OK. Nice breakfast room in the basement with plenty of choice. Ideal hotel for a business trip but also a city trip to Bologna.

Nothing really. Housekeeping didn’t always top up the teabags/milk in the room but reception were always happy to provide.

We stayed for a week and it’s an excellent hotel. Given that it’s in the old part of town, it’s central but because it’s not on a main road it’s actually quite quiet. The breakfasts really are excellent. I wasn’t sure about the bed but it proved comfortable. The roof garden is an added bonus. It’s really nice up there. Easy to get around Bologna, but it is a good 25 mins walk from the station. But then again, if it were a shorter distance the location would be much noisier.
