In certain rooms, the noise from the neighbouring rooms or from outside could be problematic. We mentioned such a problem to the reception desk and they swiftly found an alternative room for us (this depends of course on the availability during your travel).

Just the first night was a bit off but they were very good in moving us the next day.

Initially we were shown into a very small, dark and extremely hot room. After one night they were kind enough to move us to a much larger cooler room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay after that. Great location!

Location is perfect. 5 minutes away from Rialto bridge and water taxi to airport. 9 minutes away from St Marco Square. Breakfast is fabulous. Our room was perfect and just beautiful. On our early departure a breakfast bag was prepared for us, sandwich, yogurt, fruit and biscuits. . I would recommend to everyone for a stay!

The bed mattress was very hard. And for some reason they shut the heater down on a seasonal basis the weekend before we got there. Bad move because it was 50 F and raining so we froze in the room.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located a short walk from St Marks Square and Rialto bridge and right in the middle of a tourist spot, but couldn't hear much noise from the street.

We had a 6 am flight so we had to leave at 3 am. The night clerk was a wakened to unlock the front door. He was very grumpy and attempted to charge us 3 days of room taxes rather than the appropriate 2 days.

Staff was excellent, giving us helpful directions and recommendations about the sites of Venice. Great location, with virtually straight walks to St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Convenient to some good restaurants.

Hotel is clean and up to date old-world charm, location is convenient to the Rialto bridge stops for both Alilaguna (airport transport) and vaporetto (all local water transport). Also hotel is a simple stroll to St Mark’s Square, many shops and restaurants conveniently located.

Ask for extra pillows! Bed is very firm. Air conditioning not available until summer months. Open windows mean mosquitos and loud noise and talking from outside so not a good idea.

Excellent location, quick walk to San Marco square and Basilica, museums, Rialto Bridge. Tons of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is nice and friendly staff.
