Easily the best location to stay I Ruggiero Settimo, Baka and Cleliah put so much love and care into customer service I always felt like I was home and extended my stay many times. This place is clean, very well priced and attracted other mature travellers I had a very good experience, I will be returning

There is no space to store and cook food so bear that in mind if it's the type of hostel experience you are looking for.

Excellent secure location (just a little difficult to find the first time - better external signage would be helpful!) Everything is very new, modern and sustainable. The whole hostel was spacious, bright and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great too!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The hospitality and welcome were excellent. It is very clean and comfortable. Lovely to stay at a place managed by local people passionate about promoting the local area and producing lovely authentic Sicilian food and beer. Thank you guiseppe, clelia and team.

Best hostel I've ever been to. Beds are comfy and everything in the room is new. The place is so clean, shower and bathroom too. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, just 2 min away from Teatro Massimo. And the best is the food. Don't miss the chance to include the half board and enjoy a great dinner, Giuseppe is such a talented chef and knows all the traditional Sicilian recipes.

Great experience in Palermo. Many thanks to Cleila for the kind reception, help and Palermo tips but also the remainder staff was helpful and friendly. The place feels like new, well clean, with comfortable beds and warm water showers. It also has a nice kitchen/bar area and balcony where they prepare a nice breakfast and also serves as a social area. There's also the possibility of dinner on certain occasions that they announce beforehand. It's well located, at a walking distance from several attractions and transport connections to other attractions outside the city center. Easy hostel recommendation based on my experience.

I had a pleasent stay in this place , the owner and the 2 guys working there were really nice and ready to help out or to give some Information if needed. The structure was clean ,up to date , modern, and on his own style cute , there was a nice balkony in the room , was also spacious . I liked much ,how you could have that good amount of space in the room. The bathroom was also nice and clean. I would like to say that is not like many others places that you have the kitchen and you could use it and prepare your own food, here is somebody there to prepare, cook the breakfast or and the dinner . How you could understand is a different concept and is nice how it is . I can say that I had a good stay here!

The lights in my room were quite bright The lights in the bathroom were timed and were going off all the time when I was having a shower Also the bathroom was easily flooding while showering with no way for drainage and had to dry with the towel I loved the rainforest shower plate! Apart from that all Is top quality the bunk beds are quite cool and firm

I stayed at this cool new place that just opened in January, and I ended up adding two more nights to my stay. The team is super nice, and even though it's not peak season, they really took care of me. They're all about being eco-friendly, and the place is spotless. They give you towels, even a bath mat, and even good-quality shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Plus, they have hair dryers. There's a handy laundry room, and my included dinners are freshly cooked. I hope i can come back in mid-season to meet people or maybe join a Sicilian cooking class in their awesome kitchen! It's right in the center of Palermo, making it a perfect base to explore the city. The building has a concierge, so it feels safe, and the hostel is on the first floor with a digital code for entry—no need for keys, just your memory. Oh, and there's this cool water station where you can fill up your bottle with sparkling, cold, or regular water in your room. Big shoutout to the Hostelo team—I hope they keep rocking it and growing in their business! 😊

The beds didn't have curtains so no privacy, Room full of moskitos as there was no net or anything. Unfortunately my blanket had some black hair on it and it wasn't really cleaned properly under ghe beds The hostel is very small and so is the common area (just some tables with chairs) so I wouldnt choose the place to socislize with people.

Great location, the staff was very friendly. There was a simple dinner included (basic food but it was filling) and a glass of aperol spritz or beer (other drinks cost extra) The breakfast buffet was ok but not to much choice 3 Towels in different sizes were included. Free water

Too difficult to find. The rooms are very strange and no privacy for each bed.

It’s close to a lot of good restaurants It’s the hardest property I’ve ever had to try and find. Even just getting into the building is hard they need signage. I walked up and down the same street multiple times before somebody actually helped me find it.

Don’t recommend staying if you are arriving late because the self check in system doesn’t work, and I had to convince them to send me the door codes for a late check in over messenger late at night which was stressful

It’s a little difficult to find, and could use some more signage

Property was clean and the staff were great and very accommodating. I was able to leave my bag for the day after checking out and pick it up later and use facilities one last time before heading to the airports
