Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe loved the place! The view of Sorrento is amazing! Alessandra welcomed us, and showed us all that there was to offer. Habitat eco farm is a great place to get away and be free!

United KingdomAlessandro and Alessandra are the most genuine hosts you could hope to have, the work they have put into the property is immense and clearly displayed. Happy to say that we were the first to be hosted in 2024 with the Eco Farm having just opened for the season, we enjoyed it so much. Our tent (or Yurt?) was spacious and cosy, built on a solid platform with lots of lovely lights to show you the way in the evenings and an incredible view of Vesuvius/Napoli Coast during the day. Facilities are good and really clean, the outside shower is a fantastic experience, hot and happy in there. Feels much more like staying with friends rather than a hotel. Plus Diego the dog is an added bonus! We can’t wait to go back! 10/10 would recommend.

United KingdomLocation: The location of habitat eco farm is fantastic. To reach it, we travelled by bus from sorrento (it leaves from the plaza just down the road from the station on a regular timetable which was sent to us prior to our arrival) and takes you up the hill. Fares were cheap at only €1.30 per person, but remember to bring some cash, as the driver does not have a card reader! The farm was easily walkable from where the bus drops you off at Casarlano, but bear in mind it’s a 10 minute walk up a hill. We did this a couple of times, but the hosts were extremely kind to pick us up by car and drive us the final bit to the farm especially in the evening. Just down the road from the farm, next to where the bus drops you is a lovely restaurant called La Colline Di Sorrento. It’s self serve, but we ate there twice, lovely food and a nice, relaxed and informal atmosphere. The farm itself is nestled in a peaceful area with an incredible view, especially in the morning, of sorrento and the sea, with Vesuvius in the background. Accommodation: Staying in the tent was a brilliant experience. Super relaxing with a really comfy bed. We felt at home right away! Bear in mind it can get a little colder at night as you are about 300m above sea level, so I would recommend a jumper for night, at least in late September when we went! In order to be more environmentally conscious, the shower is an eco shower, meaning it is warmed by the sun. Just consider that the water may get a little cold, especially in the early morning and evening! The toilets, whilst being in a cabin, are very well maintained, and were very clean and well stocked for the whole duration of our stay. The rest of the farm is a lovely place to visit, with nice seating areas, hammocks and a shared kitchen area including a shared fridge where we ate breakfast in the mornings. Hosts: The hosts were the final piece of the puzzle to make our stay amazing, thank you so much, especially to Thiago the dog, who is SUPER CUTE!

ItalyThat I didn't spend more time.
Everything! It was everything anyone with taste for nature and relaxation wants and needs. The view, panaroma, food, staff, the tent experience. Sleeping in nature, having Alessandra, the hostess pick us up, take us around and being more than friendly, attentive and available. I am definitely going back! The hospitality was amazing. The restaurant quality food...I can't say anything more but it was the best weekend ever and I have travelled extensively. Unique experience. Thank you all!
