The room is a bit noisy because the door and the windows are not noise insulating. There is some dust in the bathroom, nothing important. The beds are not the most comfortable ones.

The location of the apartment is very good, you can go walking to the main spots of the city. The room is quite big. The facilities of the bathroom are also good.

The private bathroom had molded ceiling and had a very strong smell from the chemicals, but the owner let us use the shared bathroom instead, which was better. The owner said that the strong smell was because the bathroom had been cleaned a day prior to our arrival and it hadn’t passed enough time for the smell to go out. We would have appreciated to be informed about this issue before we arrived as well. This happened in October, maybe the issue has been solved by now.

Just communication issues. Apart from that, the room was great and the location excellent.

All good except for communication issues which wasted a lot of our time and energy. It was a HUGE help however, that we were able to leave our luggage at the address after we checked out, and before we wanted to leave Matera.

coffee and thee was not wel arranged. No proper machine, and not handy for this accommodations. please change that on a short notice to a espresso pad machine. And would it be possible to put 2 glasses on each room?

First night I could not get WiFi and there was no heat. I called the lady that manages the property and she came the next night. She got the heat going, connected me to the WiFi, and even helped me get another night in the same room. She was excellent!

Very loud doors everywhere, you just can’t close them without making an earthquake on the whole floor. Cleaning ladies were very loud in the morning and even entered in our room while we were sleeping. No heating in the room, so quite cold in November, we slept in sweaters.

In bathroom was a window to The another bathroom. Our neighbours was really loud, first night we wake up with noise from vomiting and second night with noise for “N2” option. Next time just please close The window…

the pillows are not very comfortable

it is very close to the city center, about 10 minutes away. the bathroom and room was very clean and nice, and the check in went smoothly - the owner explained how to get in and get the keys over the phone so everything was done in under 5 minutes. its pretty quiet at night so had a great nights sleep

the room had two very old fans in it, one appeared to be an air con unit but the cool function didn’t work, the other was very noisy. the flat itself was very hot, much hotter than the temperature outside and so our first nights sleep was very bad as it was hot and noisy in the room. the second night we had to sleep with the balcony doors open all night to let some cool air in. The bed was also quite hard and uncomfortable and only provided with one thin pillow.

good location, about 20 mins walk from the old town and main attractions. clean room and bathroom. felt safe and quiet and glad we had a fridge to store some food and drinks in. Wi-Fi speed was quick :) and the balcony was good.

We paid extra for a private, external bathroom but the only thing that made it private was a sign on the door telling other guests not to use it. It was open for all other guests. I don’t mind this but wouldn’t have paid extra if I’d known. Also, the toilet flush button fell out of the wall several times.

The whole place felt quite old... the decoration and general feeling. No coffee. The beds were too soft and the sheets quite scratchy. One of the beds had some hairs on it... hopefully from the washing machine.

Cheap room located relatively close to the historical center with a large terrace. Fast wifi and surprisingly clean bathroom for being shared. Friendly and accommodating host.
