The food in the restaurant is quite expensive and quite rich. The portion sizes are huge and I feel especially the starters could do with being smaller. One starter I had was enough for 4 people (and I have a good appetite!). I feel they could do with another food option in the evening along the lines of their lunchtime menu because if you don’t fancy the full blown restaurant menu there is no other option other than to into the centre to eat - I feel like they are missing a trick there. It would be useful to have a bus back around 10.30. Currently there is a 2hr gap between 9.30 and 11.30 for the courtesy bus and it is a bit of a rush to eat and get the 9.30 unless you eat very early. A taxi costs €35 one way.

It is an attractive hotel with great pool area and the staff are very good. It is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. There is a pool snack menu serving sandwiches and a lunchtime menu which is good. They lay on a courtesy bus to the centre which is good and runs frequently during the day. There is a handy 15min walk to the centre if you miss the bus or fancy the exercise. It is a bit steep coming back up but not too bad.

While the bus to and from the town is handy it was regularly 10-15 min late going down into town and on 2 occasions we arrived at the time it was to leave on the way back to the hotel only to find out it had left early forcing us to get a taxi (bloody expensive here)

I can’t say there was anything that I didn’t enjoy about the hotel

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, the view was so scenic. I feel like this hotel isn’t advertised enough, especially on social media. I feel if the hotel focused more on this, they would get more custom. Not to say the hotel wasn’t busy, as it was! But the pictures don’t do it justice, but it exceeded my expectations when I arrived.

Our room was a little far from The main facilities, such as The restaurant and pool.

The Service was really Good. We loved all The staff, but specially The lady from Argentina. The food was amazing, and so was The house wine. They have an wonderfull jacuzzi outside, and the pool is beautiful. We spent our honeymoon there and loved it.

The hotel was amazing and has a beautiful restaurant, which is good value. The staff were very friendly and attentive. However, the food could be hit and miss and if there was an area for improvement in would be to focus on a consistent approach.

Absolutely nothing could have been improved for our stay

The location is beautiful and the shuttle bus is so helpful. The room and hotel are immaculately clean, staff look after you so well. Lovely to sit on the terrace with a cocktail after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent and so was dinner. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay

Free Shuttle Bus isn’t currently reliable. Bus not turning up at the timetable given by staff. On three occasions it was on time, two of those was the replacement service due to staff holiday.

Very well presented, reception staff were very friendly and approachable. Bar and Dining staff were delivering 5* service at breakfast. Facilities are great with Jacuzzi and heated pool, housekeeping team also take pride in their work. Would definitely stay here again for the price we paid as great value for money and a walkable distance to town in 25 minutes. (April 2024).
