I don't like if the bed has a common blanket but I think that's usual in Italy.

The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the dome There are several cafes quite nearby for a excellent breakfast, Mario is the best host we ever had, he took care to arrange a garange for the car (approx. 100 m away), and also for checkout of the garage. There is free coffee and fruits at the appartment. Wifi is fine and Mario's bakery is in the same house. We will definitely come back.

Great host - Mario was kind and kept in touch with us throughout!! He even had fresh fruits in the room everyday and was kind enough to offer sandwiches etc for my toddler. We loved everything about the stay! Best location! Lovely and clean room! You can’t go wrong by selecting Mario’s room!

From a practical view Da Mario is the best option for a short stay In Florence. It is smack in the city center and only a short walk to all the main sights of Florence. Our host Mario was very generous and helpful in advice for restaurants, parking spots and all kinds of short-cuts. Saved us lots of money ! Mario does not offer breakfast, but there are spots enough close-by for the real Firenze-morning experience. The room(s) are on the backside of the building which makes them cool and quiet. The bathroom is brand new and spotless clean. We had a great time in Florence.

More a problem with confusing addresses and Google Maps - but we took a little while to find the actual guesthouse because there seem to be two sets of numberings on the street. Google Maps sends you to the wrong 13 but just walk down a little further along the street and you'll find it!

Location was great - a short walk from S. M. Novella train station. We didn't need much for breakfast - so some fresh fruits was perfect for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Mario was very helpful and flexible with dropping off luggage ahead of check-in and also checking us out earlier in the morning so that we could catch an early tour before we left Florence. If you like burrata, we had a burrata sandwich which was just delicious and creamy from Mario's Panificio just downstairs.

I liked everything!

The location is excellent, you can walk to all the interesting places. There's Mario, who is an excellent person, helped me with everything I needed and is a very friendly and helpful person. The cleanliness and organization of the place is impeccable. The Internet is very good. And there's the panini that Mario makes in his store, very tasty, worth trying. It was really worth staying there, I will go back there next time!!!

Mario is one of the best hosts I’ve met! He is super friendly and always eager to help. He reached out before and after our visit to make sure our trip goes smoothly. His place is clean and cozy and located in a lovely neighbourhood. I’ll definitely book again in my next trip to Florence!

There were no negatives. I could not find any negative comments about this house, which is a large and spacious historical house and located in the center.

The facility was excellent. Two days before our arrival, the owner contacted us and took care of us finding the property until the last moment, offering a warm welcome and coffee. The facility is meters away from the center. The facility is a historic and excellent big house, big rooms, excellent cleanliness. Fruit, Coffee, all kinds of kitchen supplies, very clean bathroom and toilet. Very warm welcome, sweet and charming owner. He provided us with parking at a very cheap price. It was a perfect short holiday for our family.

Highly Recommended 10+ We stayed with our 20 year old daughter at: “Da Mario Guesthouse in Florence”. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable, located in a cute little passage 4 minutes walking distance from the center. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Mario- the host, which made us feel at home. He was available and very helpful with any questions we had,providing us with all the information needed.It was easy to communicate with him in English which really helped. All experience was great and unique for spending a few days at the very center of the very old city. Authentic living in Florence.

Perfect small family ran hotel in the very middle of old city. Walkable distance to all! Perfect Kitchen and a local groceries-store will give your a break from eating out. The owners are super-friendly and always available for help. Multilingual translation was readily available, too.

Upon arrival to the location we were warmly greeted by Mario, who was extremely welcoming and generous. The location of the apartment was very easy to find, and at a short walking distance from the most important monuments of Florence. The host, Mario, was always available and fast to reply to messages for any clarifications / questions. He was very flexible with check in/out hours and very understanding. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained, located in a safe neighborhood. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Mario is a very friendly host. He immediately welcomed us in his apartment and offered us a bottle of red wine after a tour through the room and some tips and tricks for the city. Absolutely recommend this place with a perfect location and quiet rooms.
