I dont think the heating worked very well. Wasn't that appealing from the outside with all the scaffolding. Very convoluted way to get in and out of the apartment requiring you to navigate 4 different doors all with different opening mechanisms. Room felt a bit humid too. Sheets felt a bit damp for our entire stay :(

Clearer info about how to get a bus to the downtown area could have been provided. You can only use the elevator after entering your room. So, if you are carrying heavy stuff, maybe you should go upstairs first, get the key to the elevator, and then return to use it with your luggage. The way out button is not evident.

The room is big and comfortable. It was very convenient to be close to the train station (since we did a couple of day trips). From the station we could easily get a bus to reach downtown. Good bakeries on the station. ATM etc. We arrived very late, so being able to check in by ourselves was cool.

The link that we have to check in and pay money

It was complicate at first. It was hard to contact the owner at first and booking.com help me out. There was a link for you to check in and it will asked you to pay again. Lots of people experience that and some got back the money. I got it back with help of booking.com. After I meet Giulia, everything is so much better. There was no check in problem and she is super friendly!!

The building was under construction and the host didn't mention it in the booking, the construction workers were loud in the morning, even on Christmas. There was no internet because of that, apparently they cut the wires. There was no remote control for the air conditioning, excuse was that there was a heating unit in the bedroom, but it was not on the whole day, and it was cold through the night. The bed was with two mattresses and it was hard to keep them together, they were splitting during the night and was quite annoying. And the TV was not smart :/

Giulia was a great host, she helped us with everything we needed and gave us all detailed instructions on how to get in. The self check in was a little bit tricky but not impossible. Giulia was always available for any questions and for all our needs. Thanks Giulia!:) Location was great, 1 min walk ti the central station, helped us a lot.

The room door opening system via online was not easy to operate. We spent long hours to fully understand how to unlock/lock the door.

While I can appreciate the use of a virtual key, I think there needed to be greater transparency of its use on the property listing. I did not know until the day of arrival that I would need a stable internet connection to be able to use the key. While this may have been implied, I assumed wifi would reach when it didn’t. As an international traveller, I was forced to use my data on a roaming plan from Australia which was unexpectedly cost just to be able to get into the room. It is also not practicable that you cannot get access to the lift until you get the physical key from the room, especially if you are in a room on the fourth floor. Thankfully a kind lady who lived in the building offered me key when she saw me struggling up the stairs with my suitcase.

The property was very conveniently located - less than 5 minutes from the train station and a decent walk to the town, though bus system was also easy to navigate if you didn’t want to walk. The room was very clean upon arrival and was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided.

there was no information about check-in before arrival at the destination, nobody answered the phone or replied on WhatsApp in three days. Door handle (for the room and floor) kept falling down, AC didn't work

The apartment is located in a below average apartment building (clothes drying outside etc.). So from the outside the appearance is not that appealing. Automated access takes some getting used to. You can’t leave bags at the “hotel” prior to the check in. I was charged twice by the property (once via Booking.com and once via the “Check-in website” they use and I had to request a refund. Therefore, people need to be aware of this.
