How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was fine. We were surprised they ran out of pancakes, an hour before breakfast ended, even though they still had pletnty of the other fancier items left.
great choices for breakfast. There was a staff person at the desk all the time, who could answer questions about how to get to places. There was free public parking juat around the corner from the hotel. We could easily get our bags to our room. Since we arrived at the end of the day, there were plenty of spaces, and it was safe! Very big room. Camplus is apparently also a college dorm, which was fine for us. Lots of young people around.

If you like pancakes you might also like breakfast. For me it was a little too basic, however campus is close to the city center which has plenty of better options.
This is a campus for students with part of the facility that serves also tourists like me. This used to be a prison many many years ago which is intresting fact that is visible in the layout of the bulding if you pay enough attention.

I sincerely thought everything was great; the only downside for me personally was the pillow which I found too hard.
The property was very clean and seemed newly refurbished; it is ideally located, with parking options. Staff was very cordial and the towels were very nice and soft. Overall a great stay and great value for money.

It is not a hotel more a quality student residence the breakfast is not good.
Location for a traveller arriving by train from the airport excellent. All sights an easy walk. The rooms are good.

The position is really central. We walked all the time, but at 200 m you also have the stop of the shuttle to the city center. At the same stop you have also the stop for the bus to Monreale.

It is difficult to park, very busy. In a run-down area. I was woken at midnight by a group having a party in the room next door.
The room was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the centre.

The breakfast choice is very limited , and the place shared with students. The shower water does the cycle from very hot to very cold to very hot. The availability of parking lot near the hotel is very low, and some guys wanted a tip.
The location is very good.

Didn’t realize that it’s a student dorm as well as a hotel; with the thin walls it could be noisy at times. Very small shower

Street level noise and scooters racing up and down the street lasted late into the night. Breakfast was only average. They did offer coffee and croissants but, the remainder of the choices were limited. The bacon was very under cooked and the scrambled eggs were poor. Given that the breakfast was included in the price for the room, it is really not fair to complain about free food.
Rooms were very clean, had all the necessities and were very comfortable.

A nice place with all the benefits of a hotel but at a reasonable price. It is close to the city centre and yet quiet. There is staff to help out virtually all the time, which is very helpful in a new town and country. The room was good and clean., The breakfast was a combination of continental and English. Best of both. So plenty of fruits, cakes, plus eggs and bacon. Plenty of fruit drinks too and a variety of hot drinks. Excellent place. Will book again if we are back.

Breakfast was not great. We had a beautiful room with a large ensuite. Why did the designer put in such an incredible small shower?
Excellent location close to some of the main attractions. Some good restaurants close by. We had a lovely room. The building is lovely and bright and modern. Staff were very helpful.

Somewhat austere. This property serves the University community , especially those attending symposiums and professional training.
Easily accessible by car. Close to main tourist sites.
